Useless. Didn't change anything during their update in 2008. Another hearsay bs.

Now it's even more nonsense to uncheck those things (looking for stability) because the platform is rock solid. I have many charts opened on two screens. Stable, being logged in all day.
Ignored
Are you learning impaired or something, you quoted my post yet didn't understand the part which said "At one time", that doesn't mean 'now' does it? Apart from the stability issues back then, why have charts up if you don't use them, I like keeping the platform uncluttered, others may prefer the same which is why I posted the reply to the PM question here in the thread.

I dunno, can't work the platform, can't understand posts......yep you're qualified to be a forex trader alright!

i am not getting slipped much at all at oanda. never once 2 pips, execution is great.

charts don't need to be taken off the main windows for stability. once again, maybe that was a long time ago, not anymore along with many other problems like connectivity which were fixed.

pipmutt have you logged into and traded with oanda any time recently?

Tricked or fooled by Oanda or by my own idiotic trading practices?

There is a huge difference and it's that difference that these lackeys don't want to face.

Its the elephant in the living room. Or the turd in the punchbowl that none of you want to face.

Nobody likes to think they are being played for a punk, especially when they hadnt realised. Therefore they deny & ignore all logicalreasoning that is presented to them.

Its like with 9/11. Many people dont want to believe they were lied to. They are uncomfortable with the real facts. So these people deny that the towers were brought down by controlled demolitions, when it is clear that they were. They hide from the issue of freefall speed collapse, concrete rubble turned to dust etc. etc. Because they cannot cope with the truth. And in an absurd double think way, abuse all those who can see the truth. Weak minded peopel who cannot face the reality. Despite all the evidence.

I'm surprised at you, seriously I thought you had more about you than that, you seem to have totally failed to understand the issues despite them being explained to you in detail, and the issue about the charts. Hmmm, oh well.

Anyway, yes, I trade on the Oanda platform pretty much every day, why do you ask?

I think that about sums it up nicely!

Don't forget though that some of these people simply don't have the capacity to understand, which I suppose to a degree isn't really their fault. If they were all gathered in a room you'd probably see a sea of glazed expressions and blank looks, you may as well be talking about rocket science for all the sense it makes to them.

I'm not trading any more as i dont need the money. I have enough money.

One can always tell a successful or unsuccessful trader on a forum. It is strongly related to whether or not they have a bitter & offensive manor.

pipmutt, I understand... I was just curious because it seemed you kept on speaking of past tense, so I thought maybe you haven't in awhile. I am just saying, I am not getting slipped by oanda when I click buy/sell I see no lag and majority of the time I am not getting slipped.

the true underlying market is another story. if I click buy at 1.32206 and I get a long at that price, am I being slipped?

jimbil can you stop with the 9/11 crap, sounds like you're watching zeitgeist one to many times. use a different analogy.

jimbil.. I agree that theory can be true, but enough is enough. you don't know me and don't know my beliefs and I don't care to portray them in a thread completely out of context which is a shitty analogy to begin with.
