Looking for a broker without connectivity issues

So tonight was rough with oanda. Mainly I am upset because I was having a hell of alot of fun before their servers stopped working, though I did lose a little of my account as well. Are there any brokers without connectivity issues? I am relatively new to the game, so is this just an unavoidable hazard or is it oanda?

Tight spreads, low commission, fast and reliable execution.
Complicated but powerful platform, without those connectivity issues.

Drawback: initial depo of $10k.
The best commission rate from lotsize $125k on.
If you want to trade lesser lots, trading costs become relatively higher.
