Not too sure if anyone has seen this use this. Just found this a little interesting to see someone show what their customers are doing - or even attempted to use this to find their trading edge?

I can't attach the picture... looking at EUR/CHF I mean wouldn't you be saving... hmmm... I should be long in this position or do you go against what everybody is doing and short this bad boy?

It looks like everyone is long according to the open positions. I think it depends to answer your question. Are these big players who are long? I mean is this smart money or are these small playerss. If these are small players then go short imo. If these are big players then follow. Gonna keep an eye on this.
That we sure do not know... but look at the EUR/CHF chart on MT4 and take a look... I mean... that means everybody, quite (I don't mean this literally) a lot of people are on the wrong side?

Looking at it in simple mans term.



There was a similar example this afternon US open on E/U and I did long and I netted 30+ pips... but overall if I had held I would be making more pips - look at a chart from US open today to now.

Infact 85% are long (of 4.14% of Oanda's total orders on FX), don't know how many that will equate for, but it'll hurt.

That one will hurt if all small players on the wrong side... though mind you... small players are normally on the wrong side, lets see what happens.
I can see why everyone is long. The price is at very low levels. But that doesn't mean it cant go lower. So what did u see on the e/u that made u go in. Was % on one side very heavy & u went opposite? I guess that would be the strategy because u know the masses are mostly wrong.
Well actually I will close this thread... as I have been long on EUR/CHF and it is moving on way only, well at the moment... DOWN.
Oanda order book is updated every hour. Do you guys know any bank or a big broker provides a similar thing in real-time? Thanks

It is a paid service but we don't afford it. The banks, who know the orderflow, use it for themselves or for very important customers.
