Nice charts Eric.

I've added a few of my observations to your GBPUSD chart.
Namely the S&R zone & fib level.

Let's see if that was a false breakout before GB news (supported at 61 fib and previous S&R)
... or whether we are REALLY heading down.

... we had the false breakout

Below are 2 charts.
I went long off the 15 min bar as shown. It's not a perfect outside bar but it was good enough bullish price action for me as I was on my guard for a false breakout and it was possible that the 61fib was supporting price along with previous S&R shown in the pink zone (on the 4hr chart).

I took my chance and have just closed the trade for 73 pips.

Interestingly, on my charts, there had already been 2 x 4hr pins formed on the 8am (CET) bar so far this week. So I was on my guard for another false break-down.

I'll wait for a pullback.

When I look back and see what happened between now and then, I can see that I had no reason to exit the trade so early, when looking at the charts Sho posted this week.

Hi Rob,
Just my view, your entry to me was to risky.I mean:
-momentum on TF15min is down
-above not best OBUB is resistance and TL
For me signal bar was IB closed below resistance and that was about 50%fib retr.move and I 'll enter @break him to go short.
Also momentum on TF 4hr,was to me down.
Anyway u were right.
Maybe I just somenthing missing as I am at work so I only see your chart here.
With regards
FX

Fxfighter,

We are all different traders and we trade according to our personalities and what we can see. The only important thing common for all of us is that we are consistent winners.

All the best with the remainder of the day guys. I have to go out so will let my current long go with a trailing stop.

part of our zone attack.we allways in attacking position.
only stop is for defence.
the more you can attack more you will get.
but play safe. do that only when market is week to follow what you say.(we know market is allways right thats why we do use stop)
good view from you.

I took long trade after last bearish move finished. It should've been impulsive, but turned into corrective. Entered after first green bar, but waited a bit for retracement.

Price acted exactly as I expected. Closed with 20pips profit, now it rocketed!

Master Sho or anyone, do you think my reasoning was correct?

Peter
