You are now in big profit but realized that your broker is a scam or has big issues with withdrawing profits out - especially big profits.
Many brokers would delay withdrawals when requested or instantly block your account claiming you are doing something suspicious and they are investigating the account. This could take weeks, or could take forever at the discretion of the broker. And once your account is placed in limbo, you are now totally hopeless and chances are, you will never get to see your precious hard earned money anymore.
What will you do next? the options are limitted and futile.
But before that happens you can do Hedge Transfer.
So what is Hedge Transfer and how will it help you in getting your money out?
Hedge Transfer is basically taking a Hedge Position: you place a position at Sleazy Broker and take the opposite position at Reputable Broker (the recipient Broker). Then you close both positions simultaneously once Sleazy Broker is at loss and Reputable Broker is in profit by 50~100 pips (more is better). This is practically withdrawing money out at Sleazy Broker and transfering the same to Reputable Broker.
But what if we ended with a Win at Sleazy Broker? In this case, just keep doing it. Patience is the key and overtime, you will get your money out at Sleazy broker and have it at Reputable Broker. Be patient. It is important that your Reputable Broker has at least 5~10 times more money than Sleazy Broker. And max of 1 Lot per $5000 at Reputable Broker.
With each position, you are paying the cost of spread and therefore, the less often you do this, the less you pay in spreads. Therefore, the bigger the movements the more economical it will be for you. It is important that you WAIT!
Many of you will claim this is a waste of time and just request withdrawal in the first place and complain to authorities if the withdrawal failed. Answer me this: How long does it take to get your complaint heard by a Regulatory Body?
For the record, I have two questionable brokers last year with more than $10K profits on each. One broker I plainly requested withdrawal and never got a cent. But on the other, I wised up and performed Hedge Transfer; I have managed to syphon out almost half (almost $5K) out over a period of 4 weeks.
Now tell me, was it worth it? The simple fact tells it all: my Reputable Broker account is now $5K fatter.
Hedge Transfer does not replace Due Dilligence. It is still important to trade only with Reputable Brokers. I am not teaching you to trade with sleazy brokers and hedge transfer out the profit. This post is about you being there already and what to do next.
