Here is the indicator that can be modified and saved to the custom indicators. You can check to make sure it is the same basic indicator you want modified. Then maybe Todd can have a look at it. http://codebase.mql4.com/297

Banzai,

I use WPR a bit differently than most. Would it be possible to make a change to the code for this indicator? I need it to give a sell signal when then the indicator crosses down from above the -20 line and a buy signal when it crosses up from the below -80 line. Also is it possible to have a multiple email alert function. I'd like the signals to go to more than one email address. Thank you in advance!

I am looking the same thing. A WPR which gives a sell signal when then the indicator crosses down from above the -20 line and a buy signal when it crosses up from the below -80 line.

Any of the wonderful coders here willing to help?

I'm looking for a similar indicator. I want to alert when 2 EMAs are showing a trend and William's Percent Range is crossing down from -80 or up from -20 depending on the direction of the trend. I'd love to have a visual alert and an email. Have you found anything comparable?

Thank you for your time!
Jeff

Thanks, I took the one in post 6 and modified it for the cross out of ob/os and to only alert in the direction of the trend from the 2 emas. It seems to be working, but I'm not convinced it's alerting consistently yet. Have you had any problem with it not alerting for every instance of the criteria? Just curious. I'm going to continue to test it. I've never coded mql before so I may be crazy.

Im not sure what you exactly mean, i didnt code it, only downloaded, but i experienced no problems with that, but as i wrote previously, it take few minutes to understand how that alerts works cause its pretty difficult, maybe coder wanted it so, but he could make it easier, but if WPR is "minus 50" right now and you want alert when it goes down and cross "minus 80" you have to set alerts to ... "+1, -80" i think... if you want "minus 20" set "-101, -20" and then it will work great : ) only problem i had was that alert is ringing every tick, so if you away of pc and market is moving very fast youll get nice symphony

Hello,

I'm sorry I don't have more time for this, but this indicator is coded differently.

Hi all....was wondering if anyone knew where to find a Willaims % R or Stochastic that could be applied to another indicators values rather than the price of the currency pair ...not just in the same window as the previous indicator but calculating its figures from the previous indicator's figure (like you can do for a MA). Any help greatly appreciated.

Reviving this thread. I applied %R on top of Awesome Oscillator and wait for -50 cross. Works well. I tried to install the indicator here, but it doesn't work. Compiled it and getting an error message:

Delete the lines from 63 to 68 ... They are not needed, repeated from line 58 to 62 ... then Compile it ...
