How to apply timeframes to all open charts

Hi all,

I'm new to forex but whilst looking for signals on varous time frames I find it time consuming to move from, say 5M charts (on all open windows) to 30M charts. I manually go to each open chart window and select the time frame, then move along to the next and select the same timeframe and so on.

Is there a quicker way to do this for all open time frames?

If using MT4, the only way I can think of is via the Profiles facility. Switch all charts to M5 and then Save As profile (e.g.) "M5". Then switch all charts to H1 and the Save As profile "H1". And so forth. Then you can recall any saved profile.

If you want to see candles from different pairs/different TFs all on the one chart, you might like to try this indicator.

The saving of profiles worked a treat.

..... and be sure to copy it to: c:/programs/your MT4 folder/experts/scripts and then attach it to a single chart, being sure to check the box "Allow DLL imports". (It is not necessary to check the box "Confirm DLL function calls", otherwise you have to click on confirmation boxes when the script is run).

You will need to attach this script to only one of the open charts every time you want to change all charts TFs at once.
