Hey Guys,
I know there are lots of posts about metatrader, but I haven't seen any talking about metatrader for smartphones (not PocketPC's). Smartphones do not have a touchscreen, I tried installing MT4 Mobile on my smartphone but it wouldn't install (said not made for this type of device) Do any of you know of a version of MT for smartphones? I was really hoping to be able to trade on the go with this phone.

Thanks guys!

Actually, you need to get that information directly from your broker and how to set it up.

Good Luck!

I just installed MT4 Mobile SE (the smartphone version) from North Finance on my T-Mobile Dash running Windows Mobile 6. I set up a demo account just to test it out. I've been playing with it for about 30 mins now and everything seems to be working fine. The chart display/graphics are actually pretty decent. It doesn't offer the full range of indicators, which I expected since it is after all a mobile version of MT4, but there's enough there to work with (i.e. Moving Avg, ADX, MACD, RSI, Stochastic, etc, but no custom indicators, Bollinger Bands, Fib Retracement tool). The execution and speed seem to be pretty solid, but that may be due to the fact that I'm connected via wifi, not Edge. I don't pay for T-Mobile's internet plan, but I might opt for it now so I can trade anywhere without having to lug my laptop around. It's crazy that laptops have become "too big."

I have a live account with InterbankFX, and I was hoping to be able to trade via my Dash--that was one of the main reasons I bought it in the first place--but I talked to a customer service rep earlier and he said that their servers weren't working with the smartphone version of MT4. He said they were "working on it." I asked how long he thought it would take before it was up and running, to which he replied, "I have no timetable for that."

I won't hold my breath.
