Hey,
Is there anyway of reducing a certain percentage of a trade at set a point? I know you can do this manually by selecting the trade and the lot quantity you wish to delete and then hitting delete but, is there any way of programming this into an EA?
I've kind of dug myself into a hole by placing too many trades too early and am watching the EURUSD price plummet with way too much drawdown. But, instead of using stop losses and deleting the whole order(s) at once, I'd rather delete a certain percentage of it once it reaches a certain price level (or peak), and then if it drops down below that, I won't be losing quite as much.
Also, once it reaches a specific low, I expect to open a new trade based upon the percentage I deleted in an attempt to make up some of what I lost. This I've already implemented, and it was easy enough. Now all I need is to figure out how to close a certain percentage of the trade at a certain price.
Sure I can do it manually, but I am not always around, and don't always plan on always being around, and would prefer if it were done automatically.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.
