Missed one on the GU earlier due to news being release would have worked not going to put it up not sure if it it even matters. However here is one I was expecting to come down about 40 pips. Had a small position on that got filled and a position that didnt get filled that would have brought me up to 1% risk. (Green Arrow) However price stalled and I did not feel that this was going to continue toook it off at +5 pips on the small position

Here is the Gu trade I passed on it was lining up quite well except for the Mass news announcement at 5;30 that pushed this move straight up. Like I thought was going to happen. Now Both price and stocks have been pushing up and three failed bear moves with higher lows and the bounce off of the bottom channel. This tends to lead to a good move up now for me the confirmation of this type of trade is a doji or a hammer which I highlitghted the one I wanted to enter on.

im doen for today as I just couldnt get into trading today. When your mind is wondering walk away do something else to get your mind refreshed.

Now look at this chart this another entry I like to play, a couple of weeks ago I was playing this wrong.
1. Look for a level that has been interesting (white line green arrows showing reasons for interest.
2. Wait for a confirming candle I like big engulfing bars that go with the current trend(I have a white box around it)
3. Enter at the close of the engulfing candle set stop at base of candle.

reasons to stay out of the setup

1. Engulfing candle is too big which raises risk considerably but also limits R;R. Now this candle is not bad not great It is only 10 pips roughly but has a reward of 15-50 I would base my ratio off the lower ranges as today is moving slow and appears to be ranging.
2. The engulfing candle is due to news there is the possibility of a revision or just plain erratic movement from news.

So why did I miss this one wasnt watching the charts market is slow today but gave a few opportunities. I have had hard times focusing on my trading but having 2 boys running around adds to the confusion.

Sorry to bother you, are that Keltner Channel (10) and Stoch 5-3-3 in your charts, and major play off from M15?

No worries build your not bothering me. Keltner is more of a 2nd choice confirmation I rely more on price action and candle formations at S/R zones. I look for all these things to line up at the same area for my entries as for exits I do use the keltner more. Iniatially it is my TP if I see a better chance for it to run past the keltner like a s/r area I will set a larger TP. I trade similar to Sho but not quite his strategy so I dont post much there as I feel my stuff isnt exactly what he is doing.

I feel like Im asleep at the wheel today was ecited about getting a early day on the charts but after being up in the middle of the night Im dragging right now so Im shutting down with zero trades so far this week.

Had a great runner this morning on the GU got 30 pips out of it roughly could have snagged a couple more but this was just fine. Price went to the top of one of the S/R zones I had so I took a half position on it as it was the lowere region and I thought it might go up a pinch more would have avg at my stop loss if it made it there

Thisweek is driving me nuts I have had not time to trade in the early NY session. Which is my preferred session so hopefully next week will be better. Thought I was gonna be able to trade this morning but got called in for work err. Had one trading day this week luckily I found a trade. The rest of this week I am going to be tyed up

havent had anytime to trade just got home from work and I dont plan on looking for anything for the rest of the day.

Here is one on the GY that I love to take on most pairs. Notice the white line this is one of my areas of interest and once the doji showed where the White arrow is you need to consider since it is above the area it should go up. Now stochs are in great position and the price is at the bottom of the keltner. All this lining up is wht I consider an ideal entry.

Here is one that I am watching closely looking for a quick drop in price

Havent had much time at the stick recently and this one made me think that price may fail to continue down right now. I feel it should had released already how ever is this one fails to come down a lot there should be another chance to get in. if price starts to wick out

got 5.6 pips out of the trade .5% roughly

Ignore my idea on looking for re entry on euro it may want to go much higher looks like the bulls are getting in control

Im thinking price is going to just be bouncing till the FOMC announcement and if I do not see some significant play real soon Im done for the day. There is a lot of indecision in the market right now.

Thought the market was being lazy so I went to the gym and ran some errands and when I get back I see that I got singals about 30 minutes after I left. Not my day to day. Now the blue box illustrates an area of support price is not likely to break below it then at the white arrow we get an entry that closes just above it and close to the bottom of the channel. Now right after we get a great engulfing candle excellent time to go to BE and see how far it can run. I think it may have topped out for now at 3637 roughly but I am not gonna play anymore today.

This is a long term trade will be looking essentially for 86 but have a tp at 85. Letting .5% loose at the moment ma add at 35 area which is just below the entry as it stands

The distortion was a little too ditorted for me today I saw some possible plays but I just didnt think they were solid plays

This area on the GU I was close on taking but it seemed to be to low to sell into I wanted it to push a bit higher. I sat and waited just to see it tank. The other thing that threw me off on this trade is with it getting above my box I thought that price still has a chance to get higher. But hey thats trading.

The Yen is being a dog normally I stay away from that pair and use it only as a correlation but with all the rumors of Japanese intervention I have to give it a shot. On the 4hr it is in a low spot so Im hoping to be out of this one by the end of the week hopefully before Nonfarm.

Real slow on this week between working and the minimal amount of time I have had to trade its been easy to just get up from the charts. Next week I expect a lot of movement on the daily's of Euro and GU they appear to be topping may be taking a short on both if nonfarm is bad and market goes up but if the market stays with the news will be staying away. Ive been noticing that the market is going against the news the open on sunday tends to be in favor of the news.

markets are pretty thin so far in US session had some chances in london but Im sleeping during that time still have the UJ bouncing around it hasnt run but hasnt been stopped either there is a large amount of patience that comes with trades like this but you dont have to watch them like you do with the 15m TF

Just got stopped on the UJ had a couple of chances to get out on profit and after last nights news in the middle of the night should have taken the second arrows high but a little tough to do when your asleep -.5%
