Nothing, other than perhaps a better understanding of accumulation and distribution. From what I have read so far, there have been no calls perse, unsubstantiated or otherwise.

Are you attempting to draw me into an argument by asking me what my intentions are? One could ask you the same and undoubtedly, you would have given the same answer that I have just given, if you hadn't taken offence so quickly and decided not to participate constructively.

I don't intend any malice in anything I've just written. Lets not sink to some other unnamed posters depths of starting a flame war here. From one student to another, I respectfully ask that you do not further address any posts to me unless specific to the subject in hand.
I am disappointed by by the turn this thread has taken, but for what it is worth I must say few words that reflect my opinion.

even though your post was the reason for the ending of this thread, I find nothing wrong with what you said nor how you said it. Pity, because your exchanges could have provided substantial learning awa good reading.

the quickness you took your drastic action is very disappointing, it smells of childishness, quite frankly.
I don't know the level of your competence with forex, but I can assure you that had you been able to continue the conversation with an open and positive fashion with Hercs, you, and him, would have learned even more than the rest of us. It is my take that in any classroom the one who learns the most from the day's lesson is the teacher.
In my other post I was going to warn you about not to expect gratitude from your efforts because you would have ended up being hurt.

Frankly, your approach to what I'm sure were very good intentions from your part, was doomed from the start. Make this a lesson for you. You need more than good intentions to be successful.

Like it or not, YOU FAILED THIS PROJECT!!!

Whether or not the thread starter continues, his/her idea will be here forever.

Here's what I got (demo) using the idea, which to me subdivide support/resistance levels into more-usable types:

I can now understand why the thread starter doesn't want to post his/her own charts; the description of different s/r levels, plus the discussion the thread starter used before the last call, is enough to get the idea. I don't think that disallows others to post their chart; I refrained from adding anything to the thread starter's idea.

The reason I used the thread starter's idea was that I figured the price-time line would return to the thread starter's 1.4130 range several times; thus, the posted trade.
The 1.4130 level held overnight. Here's the picture. To anyone: How am I supposed to interpret this picture with the thread starter's different types of support/resistance lines?

Suffice it to say "HA", that this is precisely my point too.

I will edit this post later with a chart to illustrate levels generated by the world's most influential traders like Fibonacci and W.D. Gann to name but two, gentlemen who did not mind sharing their "discovery" with the world and its brothers, in a manner befitting trader's decorum and etiquette.

Let us stop waisting time here and move on. There are other people on this Forum and elsewhere, that are prepared to share their experience without any childish tantrums or selfcentredness.

I post here the EUR/USD H1 chart with just Gann and Fibonacci (2 of the trading world's greatest contributors) diagrams (for lack of a better description) on it and I wish to draw your attention to the following:

Top left #1. to #2 further to the right is the ACTIVE NEGATIVE-line and anything below this line needs to be treated as SHORT (retraces will continue to go short until this line is broken, when the TREND has changed. (This subject is adequately covered elsewhere on this Forum by a very well qualified trader and I thank him for helping me exploiting such Gann riches. Thank you Haiderfsd)

Bottom "(a)" to "(b)" is the ACTIVE POSITIVE-line which needs to be broken before the TREND continue further down.

Note where the price "stalled" this morning! So what is so difficult about understanding that this stalling point just obeyed the Law of Gann.

And this is where I took issue if you wish, with the originator of this Thread, that he could not come up with something as profound as this and if he does possess this, why not share it with the community at large? It will make him a better person for sharing and being less selfish.

Also note to the left of this morning's "stall" a Blue triangle pointing to an ellipse on top of a Fibonacci level (look to the extreme right to see which one it is), where the price "stalled" and retraced back up to the "stalling level" which I drew in Aqua across yesterday's entire width.

Now, let us examine this "stalling level" (his words) carefully:

The 04h00 candle touched the Gann line and retraced, before attempting it again 5 candles later @ 09h00 when it retraced again and "wallah" you have your "stalling level".

The next candle retraced before the announcement and low and behold he suggested that the "SS was triggered" ..happy pippen" only to have the announcement taking you all the way up to 1.4151 at "(b)" marked in Blue triangle. (it could have been worse - nobody knew whether the price was not going to go UP - it all depends on knowledge of data which we did not have.

So for the last time from me at least, this Thread is not worth continuing unless the said gentleman has something concrete to share in which case I will be the first to acknowledge his expertise.

Until then, we will continue to study Forex in a constructive manner.

Wow, I really did not expect my trading discussion post to degenerate into this stage and mired with so much emotive issues.

That I am being judged as childish,self centred, selfish, arrogant, egoistic etc rightly or wrongly are all emotive issues which is intrinsically inherent in most speculative trades/businesses. I can actually foresee this form of issues when I first started this thread and have actually taken steps/measures and other prerogative features permissible and afforded to me by this forum admininistrator to preempt them and yet it happened. On this, I have to admit that I have failed and failed miserably. I have correctly read the ground but flopped im my execution.

I am first and foremost a trader and I can understand and empathise with most of the the emotive/psychological aspects of trading both in the actual trading and learning phase. I use to "moronise" all the trading gurus/gooroos/authors/economic analysts and what have you becos no matter how much they have offered and how much I have received, my TRADING did not improve. That was when I stop looking/searching for all EXTERNAL avenues and instead search and rectify all my INTERNAL weaknesses/flaws/faults and the result is not only good but too good to a fault that borders on all the negative issues which I am facing right now. I have slogged and sweated and paid a very high price to earn my keep AND who are anyone to tell me anything otherwise.

You know 99vt66 you may be a great trader and no one is disputing that fact. The issue I have is now you present your thoughts. We may all benefit from this discussion but, I for one, was not able to get past your presentation and that my friend is extremely important.

If you truly want to help others and not just present yourself as the best of the best then you need to redo your presentation, redo your words, rethink how to "talk" to us. In other words, talk to us not down to us because that was exactly what you did.

I don't really post much or read about what where people are placing their orders, because I don't want it to influence my decisions, but I came across your thread and just have to say something.

Have you read your post after you wrote it ? if you didn't take another and look at your tone, to me it doesn't seem like someone that wants to help.

Guys, not everyone in life is as diplomatic as one might possibly want. Why should they be? Its entirely up to you whether or not you choose to participate in a particular thread and another choice if you decide to take offence at what the thread starter writes. But as far as lecturing people on etiquette, one could take the position that silence speaks far more volume.

The natural course/process of any price action is rally/decline, stall, consolidate and reverse. Don't know if I agree with you all the way, Mate, but I do understand what you are saying about stalling. Would be nice if you would elaborate a tad on how you identify price is stalling.

Everyone has their limits, Mate. Some are a bit sensitive, I'll give you that one.

You can see I didn't say the post was of no substance. Quite the opposite is clearly true which explains all the interest.

However if you can't see that the post is defensive, negative and condescending then might I suggest you generally examine things more closely? A good deal of others appear to take the same view.

PS I'm not your mate as we have never met!
