Adding an alert to a set of indicators based on their color

Hi,

I want to set an alert based on the color of 2 indicators, which I only have the ex4 file for, not the source code. So actually, this should be it's own separate indicators that can read the color value of the indicators in question..

This is for metatrader

When I look in the data window, the values are all static, therefore I can't reference numeric values in trying to place the alert..

If someone can point me to any sample code that does something like this it would be very appreciated, thanks!

Take a look at the icustom function in the meta editor help file. You'll find the values you need in the appropriate buffers. Most indicators will show you which buffer contains which value if you hold your cursor over the bar.
