Dear all,
I am on Demo Account. I SHORT EURUSD at 1.35990 and monitored the trade on M1 Chart. This happened today 12th May 2009 with only Australia & Tokyo Market open.
My Friend was just watching EURUSD on M5 Chart. Did not enter a trade.
My System hanged at 1.35990 while price went down to 1.35860 (13Pips) as observed on my friend's terminal. I tried to close the trade a few time BUT it kept giving me requotes. I finally managed to close the trade at 1.35980. Check my records and found that I had actually entered the trade at 1.36001 and finally ALLOWED TO CLOSE THE TRADE at 1.35980 allowing me ONLY 2 PIPs gained instead of the possible 13 PIPs.
I am newbie, I have heard about "BAD" brokers http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon8.gif but I thought the one I chose was "good"... with all sort of claims of awards, etc, etc. I am shaken from this experience. I will not name the Broker for now but I will if this happens again.
My question to my fellow traders, especially the more seniors and caring members.
1) Is this normal?
2) Have we live to with this or there is a way out?
3) Any Broker(s) out there who dont do this kind of &^%$ thing.
Most appreciate your response.
Warmest regards
& Happy Trading http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
