Some minor errors may be reported on bottom bar but are more cosmetic than anything serious.

  1. Note: SL, TP, BE & Trailing SL are virtual or hidden. For clarification see *
  2. Note: Use relevant advisory bar buttons ...[Sl] [Tp]...to show SL, TP, BE & Trailing SL labels.
  3. Note: If two orders are opened close to each other one or more advisory bars will be hidden. Use [<>] button to slide the advisory bars apart.
  4. Note: Because the Trailing SL is hidden it will not be seen - click advisory bar [Tr] button and the Trailing SL label will show when activated.
  5. Note: The BUY+SELL should not work for accounts that do not allow hedging and should result in an opened and immediate closed trade. Avoid if hedging is not supported.

* Regards MT4 Terminals - a normal SL is stored on the broker sever so if price hits SL during internet disconnect the SL will trigger and close the trade (if the broker is honest).
A normal TP is not stored on the broker server.

  1. This EA SL & TP are hidden or virtual so do not show in the MT4 Terminal.
  2. * This EA SL is not stored on the broker server.
  3. * Provided the MT4 Terminal has internet connection to the broker this EA will close the trade when price hits SL.
  4. Trades can also be closed by time (vertical green line).

I wonder if anyone can help to build in a function into the attached EA. At the same time it will solve a problem that occurs with it but the main thing is that I would like it to be able to open a new trade in the opposite direction if the set SL is hit. The idea is to catch the "breakout" which is often the situation when the SL is hit with this particular EA. If possible, I would like to set the hedging trade with a new lots amount, TP and SL of it's own.

In fact the problem occurred this very morning! Please see attached chart. The EA stop loss was hit and it immediately opened a new trade and the SL was hit again! Had I been able to set an opposing hedging trade in the opposite direction, it would have hit TP (top arrow) with a win rather then another loss!

If anyone can help I would be grateful

Hello... everyone ,is there any Senior/member who have output history djarum11 indi.ex4, i installed output history djarum11 indi.mq4 in mt4 indicator folder ...also placed two .mqh file in include folder created by hanover sir. but doesnt work, script version .ex4 worked ..but i want indicator.
i think there is some compile issue cant open indicator(journal msg) , may be .ex4 file will work
could anyone plaese help me on this issue.....i have other output history indicator ,but they create different files for each pair and each timrframe.
i want all in one like this indicator.
please ..please ..please......help me out

I posted a bit of code a few pages back, just wondering if anyone actually looked it it? it has an error, wonder if anyone could have a quick look please to see if it is a quick fix? curious as to how close to working it actually is!

I will open at once 1 trade at market + 2 BuyStop + 2 BuyLimit, and I get the trade at market + 2 BuyLimit, but only 1 BuyStop.

What is the reason ?

Hello everyone,

The attached EA (ex4) wouldn't open any order on real account. I have attached mq4 source file as well. Interestingly, the mq4 works terrible and acts opposite the ex4 file!!!
Can anybody modify the EA so that it open order in real account and having the same result as ex4 file?

I have downloaded the MQ4 in your link, compiled it using build 509 of the MetaEditor/compiler as an indicator, and attached the resulting EX4 below. I have no idea what changes djarum11 made to the original MQ4, or whether it will correctly output the data that you want. It is what it is. Don't forget to delete the MQ4 file from your computer, as it will compile with errors, and you'll likely be faced with your original problem. Use the attached EX4 file only, i.e. download it into your ..../MQL4/Indicators folder.

I think I have a challenge for you ...
I have a scalping EA and it's attached to two separate currency charts. It trades overnight, and my analysis has shown that if it hasn't closed a trade by 7am it tends to lead to a losing trade.

So, can you work out a way to automatically close ANY open trade on MT4 at 7am, thus avoiding losses?

I've found some EAs/scripts that do this, but I can't attach them to the same chart that my EAs are on. I have to remove my EA first which means my EA can't trade. That's the challenging part.

Any ideas gratefully received!

Why does the EA have to be attached to the same chart? You can have two or more charts open for the same pair/instrument, each running different EAs that perform different functions, if you wish.
Hi,

I want to use RSI indicator (candle stick or bar form) and Demark Lines in combined form. I found both of them separately bur can't combine them. I attach a picture of the indicator I want to have. If you can succeed, it will be highly appreciated.
Attached indicator picture also includes Elliot waves combined. If this could also be done, it will be magnificient!

I have four charts open, two with EAs attached, and two with nothing. What I'd like to do is close any orders that the EAs opened at 7am every day (if they're still open at 7am).

I may be wrong, but, for example, if I have 2 x ERUCHF charts open, one with the EA attached and one without, if I make any changes to the chart without the EA it does nothing to the trade on the other chart - the trade the EA put down.

Not necessarily. Orders reside on your br0ker's server, and are independent of charts. An EA does whatever the code tells it to do, regardless of which chart it's been attached to. You could have a separate EA, attached to any chart, that (for example) is programmed to close orders for any pair(s)/instrument(s). If necessary, this EA could check the order's 'magic' (reference) number or its Comment text, if it needed to know which EA originally placed the order (provided that the original EA stamped the order with a predefined magic number, or the comment with some text that is understood by the second EA). EAs can also communicate with each other using Global Variables (press F3 in MT4 to see these), and can be programmed to do just about anything; it all depends on the way the programmer has designed them to work.

i did whatever you said ,but my machine slow down a lot ...mt4 not responding ,, even i choose only one timeframe M15 for lookback bars 2880.
i thought indicator trying to fetch data for each tick ,because output file .csv allows to open in read only form . attached msg shown
please guide me how to overcome this issue.

hanover, thanks again for the advice.

I've installed "Swiss Army EA" and attached it to a different chart (same currency pair as the one the EA is on), and set it to close any open trade at 7am.

Fingers crossed it works!

Further to the above if you address your request to an individual coder other coders will be reticent to respond - its common courtesy - if you address your request universally anyone is invited to respond and forum users can benefit from coder submissions most suitable to requirements.

If you post was a submission of interest and not a request kindly ignore above. I have not looked at the files - the post descriptive unclear of intent.
