Hello everyone,
I'm seeking your assistance in finding an app or solution that can send alerts to my mobile phone for specific upcoming economic news. I need the app to send alerts an hour or 30 minutes before the news is released. Any recommendations from fellow traders?
Having such a tool would greatly help in reducing the stress of checking the economic calendar during busy work hours.

Or use AgentGPT, or something like that!
There are lots of such services. This isn't about MQL4/5.
Though, my general advice would be:
If You don't have time to focus on issues conncted with Your trading, DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!!
IOW, During busy work hours concentrate on your work - not on anything else!

It is NOT possible to code a universal indicator which will detect any arrow appearing on the chart.

As I have already explained a number of times, there are two methods by which indicators plot arrows.
We can detect the appearance of a new arrow of OBJ_ARROW type.
We can not detect the appearance of a new buffer arrow. We can only detect it for a specific indicator.

Thus, I am unable to code an indicator which detects when a new arrow appears on the chart unless I have the indicator which plots the arrows.

Hi Best,

This will be an EA based off simple moving average.
I see some EA's that will open trades when current price candle crosses above or below moving average.

I am looking for one that will close open trade, when opposite trade is opened.
I hope I am making sense.

eg. Price crosses above moving average, buy position is opened, price then drops below moving average, first closing buy position and then open sell position.

You must have the Scalper Arrow.ex4 in the Indicators folder.
You must not change the name of Scalper Arrow.ex4 !!!
You don't need to put Scalper Arrow.ex4 on the chart.

You are making sense.
However, I never promised I would code any EA's for anybody.
Most probably, you will find such an EA, if you search.
Your idea doesn't motivate me in any way to code an EA for you.

How much work is it to change a EA from trading from market orders to instant execution. Fairly straightforward EA.

You are asking a strange question.
Market orders are instant execution, as in they are not pending orders, however this doesn't mean that the orders will be executed at the requested price.
IOW, the execution is not done by any EA, but it is done by the broker's algorithms.
Brokers can offer asynchronous execution or synchronous execution mode

Yes, of course it is.
You just need to change the order types.
Market orders are OP_BUY and OP_SELL.
Pending orders are OP_BUYLIMIT, OP_BUYSTOP, OP_SELLLIMIT, and OP_SELLSTOP.

However, there might be something else that needs to be changed, so that the EA doesn't send too many requests.
