- start by looking at existing codes for simple indicators written in the last 6ish years and make something now
- whenever you need to google something, I use mql4/5 + a few keywords
- learn how to write a single moving average indicator
- learn how to add another line on top of the ma that is a candle height above it at every point
- then learn how to add a text label to it that updates in real time
- if you can do the previous 3 points then you'll be able to pretty much plot anything you want on the chart, or figure out how to, and collect prices or data from wherever and do whatever to it before displaying

The same code but with the correct name "Fractal - adjustable period & alerts & price labels mtf" when it was posted by its original Author

EDIT : Sorry guys for any inconvenience,Looks like the same issue (that was started in 2016 when TSD forum was in migrating process (TSD to mql5) and adding some unusual additions in the codes name,like "amp" where "&" are in the code name)
hope Forex Factory developers will be handle/solve it as early as possible - because the one i posted with correct name it also renamed like the above of "hubertolie"

Here is not a request of coding, but I need your help, please look into for evaluating wrong or right. the experiment is not coincidence, I catch several unexplained MT4 phenomen, see the pics at different time, which could effect badly any trading style or ea code out there.

I tried an ea which supposed to doing well on test data, but not on live, so I looked close to what it does, then I caught this behaviour, although the ea issued signal in the right the direction (Buy when trend up, sell in trend down), orders were closed in loss!!!!

The author used following codes

OrderSend(Symbol(),OP_SELL,Lots,Bid,50,Bid+SL*Point(),Bid-TP*Point(),NULL,1213,NULL,clrRed);

When I look into MT4 I was more surprised to catch this (test live on crypto demo server because crypto is trading 7/7)

I expect if sell from 2074.95 then for 1:1 SL 2079.95, TP @2069.95, but attempt to send order in without SL/TP, then modify order, even with ea or manually key in the 500points, then copy to set new limits, results in tp and stop order are set in opposite direction when trade at certain time of week, day... Could it be possible? Where do I see wrong here?

the ea was coded in 2016 it could be under different rules, now ecn broker does not accept order sent in with SL/TP. How do you modify the code efficient, so automatically your orders are protected with right SL, TP? OrderSend returns a ticket, I use that for OrderModify(ticket,....) is that correct way?

UPDATE: NOBODY SEES THIS SL/TP STRANGE SETTING BEHAVIOR IN MT4, THIS COULD PARTLY EXPLAINS WHY YOU ARE IN THE 95% ... DONT YOU THINK SO?

HELP PLS

I have problem on ecn broker ICM, not accepting SL/TP when send order in, how do you have to code OrderSend to this broker pls? It does send orders but without RM
