Does anyone know of any kind of EA that places pending orders? I needed an EA that would put a selected number of pending orders with a certain number of pips between them, in which I could determine the TP and SL and also the price to be reached for it to place the orders

Hi

- is anybody able to modify the attached indicator to check for divergence and send an alert ?
I thought I might have been able to use a Stoch or MACD divergence indicator and adapt it, but it’s beyond my cut & paste coding capabilities. Like everything else in Forex trading – it’s much harder than it looks!!!!!

SETUP: The Entry is on the break of the High(Buy)/Low(Sell) of the HeikenAshi candle that trigger the signal. The condition to get a valid trigger candle is that when the candle closes in the main window, the 21 EMA is Above the 50 EMA for BUY or Below the 50 EMA for SELL in both windows, the main window and the indicator window. With these conditions in place we wait for a retrace in the main window where the 3 EMA came and cross the 21 or the 21 + 50 EMA. And we then see if the same happen in the OBV window. If not, than we can enter the trade....

I think you may invest some more of your time learning and gaining related knowledge so that you can invent some best possible good strategy

The code in topic is old enough and possibly can repaint,better to use some/any of newest ver by Mladen/Mrtools,there are a lot around,almost with extended featured

Good morning,

I hope someone can help me modify this indicator of mine, this is a CSM and would like to modify if possible to have an input wherein we can select the amount of time it can update, for example every tick or 1m or 15m and so on. And also if possible to put them vertically instead of horizontally. Thanks.

Hello !
I need some help with this free EA, it is perfect for news trading, Opening Two Pending Orders:

Automatic placing of Buy Stop pending order and Sell Stop pending order simultaneously, Stop Losses and Take Profits on the user specified levels. As soon as the long position (BUY) is opened as ASK price crosses the levels, the remaining pending order (SELLSTOP) is deleted. Vice versa if the short position (SELL) is opened as BID price crosses the levels, the remaining pending order (BUYSTOP) is deleted.

That is all OK for manually news trading, but what does not fit is:
It places again both pending orders after the opened order has been closed. - This is not good - the second trade is mostly losing money...

Can anyone repair this EA to "placing of Buy Stop pending order and Sell Stop pending order simultaneously" only one time?


I need that after 1 trade EA take a pause or exit or drop dead or whatever - until next news in a few days...

It is supposed to be run as an EA (not trading) and you can change this line: Sleep(2000) to make the delay bigger/smaller. 2000ms = 2sec.
I hope someone can create an EA whose job is only to manage positions opened manually.

EA will manage a basket of trades open for that pair and subsequent ones including pending orders that are triggered and also additional trades opened manually after EA is placed on chart. Lets say there are three orders open in MT4, the eA will calculate the average sell (or buy) line. If price is at this average sell (or buy) price then there is no profit or loss (depends on swap and commission of course). Once the average line is calculated, then EA will set the stop loss of all the trades to this price. The user may want to be able to control when the trades are set to this SL by a number of options. for instance we may want current price to be 30 pips away from the average line before setting their SL to the average price, and then we may want to be trailing the basket of trades from there by using either trailing by steps or point to point. The average price will continue to be recalculated as more manual trades are open or as more pending orders are triggered.
