Here's a quick one I took this morning before I had to go out. USDJPY, 15min chart, outside bar, counter trade with div:

This method is so sweet In this case the previous trading day trend was down. I entered the market at what appeared to be a strong supply zone, so along with the outside bar and div, the probability of a successful short trade was high.

SL was 10 pips, my target of +20 pips was hit later on in the day. I could've taken just 10 pips just 3 bars later, but decided to just let the trade take it's course. I also had the option of letting the trade ride further down, but greed is a sin LOL

Thanks mate, having some wine now, party nearly over. Well done on the USD/JPY trade. I personally would have traded this 5m OB with some div present that went down nicely. Nevertheless good job and yes this methodology is hot

That's a sweet setup right there, those OBs are powerful man! LOL Been out most of the day, so no time for proper trading, but I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for more of these bro. The thing I like about this method is the setups occur often, and they're high prob as well, perfect combo.

Not sure about the div rules yet, I'm only applying what I know from the Igrok stuff, and I've still to complete reading this thread. For example, on the chart you've posted, the div you mention, was it a different one from mine? Will you be able to mark the div if it is different and post a chart? Of course do it when your party's over and you get time

Getting used to Oandas platform so not much of trading today. Heres a nice ct trade with div on EUR/JPY just for the sake of it.

you got good eye in spotting these..I am currently watching the setups on a demo.. but due to full time work commitments - i am thinking i may apply this methodology to 4hr.
Trading is a test match not a Twenty20.
i personally hate H4

my entries are based on candles, and every broker`s h4 time is different. Im only interested in things EVER trader in the world is starring at

Thanks. Experience really pays off at the end. I have my own strategy, but see this a great way to add some more profits while waiting for my own setups. All the best. Cheers.

Pauly I appreciate your feedback. I would prefer the shorter time frame and currently looking at trading activity during the times i can watch the charts. I may end up using this on short tf for more liquid markets(Cable, Eur/Usd etc..) and use longer time frames for other markets.

When I'm trading this method I enter manually. For my main strategy I use limit orders and they to the job really fine.
Price makes 3 higher highs, IB at swing high forms, div present = take the trade. Beautifull setup

Hey Belekas, that is history chart though. They all look pretty on history charts. No way one can lose analysing them. Try to post them in real time, and let's see if there will be any winners at all

Sorry to hear you have no success trading them. To each his own. I don't have to post anything or proove anything to anyone. Thats the best thing about FX. Money talks bullshit walks. All the best.
So, first "commentator" was kinda weird.

Market went against me 10 pips from entry, so I doubled up...

Seems some other pairs moved better but no divergence, so I didn't take them

Took the last position off at .3645 and half of the first position

Moved TP and SL up...

This is a winning trade now no matter what
