Ticker & Time Frames

Is there a EA that is capable of storing ticker data that can then be used in MT4 or Excel.

You can do this with DDE, But more control is needed I think


Example: 1 Second, 2 Second, 3 Second, 4 Second, 5 Second, 10 Second, 20 Second Etc Etc


Storing Ticker values, each 1/10th of a second then X this value by your desired time frame

If you are able to store data in this way you would be able to do the following:

Check all requotes from brokers as to thier performance and price,

Back test all Currency pairs, and which currency pairs move in relation to others,

Have variable time frames within time frames to see cycles

See which price levels are more important than others also how long that price stayed at that price ETC ETC

I think that all EA's and indicators are based on old prices, so why don't we try to bring the past as close as possible to the present, only then will you be able to react faster to market movements and have more accurate indicators instead of on: OPEN, CLOSE, HIGH, LOW, ETC, All your moving averages will then be based on actural and exact prices

At the moment we do our back testing, our trading, our indicators, on to many variables,

I beleve you must first start with a strong foundation and then you can move forward
