With this week being NFP Friday, there is a real chance we see a lot of sideways movement. However, once we get the Friday numbers......I think a lot of focus could shift to the USD/JPY pair. The main reason is that the Bank of Japan is working so hard to devalue the Yen, and the Fed is on hold.....but has laid out a case for easing more.

The jobs number is the one thing that can really move this pair. If the number is a good one, the USD/JPY pair should rise, mainly because it makes the likelihood of easing less likely out of Washington. However, there is still the possibility of easing if Europe explodes.......but in the short-term, I think a good number should shoot the USD/JPY straight up for a bit.....

Bones seems to have a real problem and what he is missing is that I am stacking and trading(silver not gold).

Everytime it drops I phone my local dealer and buy more Eagles/Maples whatever I can get.

He is right tho, I am blinkered bcos I believe that when the last domino falls the only thing left standing will be gold and silver. Every time silver drops it's another gift for me to buy more.

Also in Uk we normally have to pay 20% VAT on silver - I've found a way of buying it without paying that so I get an automatic 20% discount on every coin I buy.

So I don't care if silver drops to 20 I'll just keep buying lol.

Also, if you are buying the physical silver.....well that's a different trade. I am afraid our friend is probably buying spot silver, which isn't a long term deal. Owning silver is an entirely different proposition.

Yeah my signature is text book - ie it's a quote - thats why it's blue italics. It's my sig because I agree with the sentiment and it sums up my feelings re forex and that no-one knows what the market is gonna do, but, unlike you, most ppl are intelligent enough to recognise that.

The EUR/USD goes sub-1.25, but looks as if it is trying to find support. I suspect we aren't quite ready for the meltdown yet....

USA v. Brazil tonight in D.C.

Should be a decent match as we always play the Brazilians well. (I have no idea why) Just demolished Scotland 5-1, but that's not saying much I suppose......

US looked horrible tonight, lost 4-1. Of course, they have a player named HULK, so we were never going to win.....lol

Klinsmann is doing a good job in general as coach, and what I like about his coaching is that he is using a lot of random players to see what is really out there.....not just the same 20 or so idiots.

Brazil normally beats us 1-0 for some reason......and they are bastards, don't kid yourself. :-)

None the less, I like England, (A hazard when you had a roommate for years that was from Wiltshire) but I think Holland is going to do it this time.......unless of course they start the infighting as usual. Drives me nuts.....I am still pissed about the final......been a huge Dutch fan for years.

The Dutch aren't a bad shout, although they always seem to implode.....they certainly have the guns..

I think Spain, also the Germans they just seem to always do what is necessary to get in the last 4..

France might be worth a "punt", there is a large contingent in our league and they have been playing really well..

You never know, with all the mayhem surrounding Greece they will prob win it again
