a perfect Pin Bar forming on gbpusd. this is also a 38.2 fib area...CW, will you go short on this or is there anything else you would consider before shorting this one?

Thanks

Hi.

I share my opinion on this one but won't take responsibilty if the trade would have worked in your favor but you decided not to enter based on this information.

You wished a supplementing analysis and here you have mine in the following charts. The result is that for my style of trading it's a no go. In the past I continued searching to make it to a trade, now I find another chart which I don't need to squeeze out a trade because I think to myself that I want to trade this setup.

I had a friend who was goalkeeper and scored once...

US soccer has been improving very rapidly since the 1994 world cup in the US. Nobody laughs at US soccer skills anymore.

I do have a feeling that the guys in that vid probably aren't on the national team

Well I made money on Eurusd this week as it is trending up and that's a good reason to buy. I made money on Eurjpy as eurusd was going up and usdjpy is retracing upwards too, another good reason to buy.

The only pair I traded and lost money on was Gbpusd because it is not trending or the trend is unclear and that is why I lost money.

I'm starting to think that trading is just that simple.

The trade I took was the daily candle that bounced from 1.65 and ended the day below the daily trendline down. It spent the next day going up!

For me it's a lesson I knew already but that the market didn't hesitate to teach just one more time seeing as I obviously didn't get it the first 200 times... Only trade with the trend and make sure it's a clear and obvious trend!

Following this on I'm thinking my future strategy will be to watch the majors form a trend and then look to trade the crosses of that major. For instance, Aud is in a good uptrend, I should be watching Audusd and any of it's crosses for trades. Same with Nzd.

You won't know if your observations are correct unless you take the trade.

I am not particularly thrilled about a 350 pip stop, meaning I need a 700 pip gain just to get a respectable 1:2 RR.

I want to short the pound so bad I can taste it, but don't know exactly how I want to go about it.

I know I can size my position to make the stop comfortable, but do I really expect price to go in my favor 350 pips(1:1RR)? .....700(1:2)....1050(1:3).....1400(1:4)?

I'm having difficulty with this one.

Ace, Low....I agree about the GBP being a huge stop. Sometimes I find it easier to use the weekly as a signal for direction.....then look for shorts, (in this case) on the 4 hour.....

Remember, it's the larger time frames that give us direction......

Hi.

Proudly present the Order Entry System and a new fully customizable version of the DrawPPZ script on my homepage. Now I'm out of business for a while regarding MT4 implementations, have to do a HSMS/E30 SECS implementation on an AVR32 system powered with linux (besides my dayjob) pheew.

Have fun using the new stuff, Stefan.

When you trade like he does, you don't have to be understood.

you will also notice looking at the XAO (Australian stock index) that we are hitting obvious resistance at the 5000 level...

It would not be suprising to see a leg down

I don't see it either.....maybe it was a change since the commercial forum thing? Don't post it here, so that there is no conflict. Send me the link, and I will put it in the "links" page of my site.

You don't want to be designated as commercial, you can only post in commercial and news sections if you do.

Done. Just seen that the link does not appear in the live member profile but in my profile editing page it does. Don't understand because there's nothing on my site a visitor could pay for but I also don't need the link in here because from 2 million results I get on the first page without the link in the profile page. Removed the link now completely before some FF admin gets the wrong ideas.
