Yeah still stuck in the old master ea. It just keeps winning for me. Trying to cut the nine safest pairs I'm trading down to six, also trying to figure out which one is better the 4hr or daily charts. Is the ma ea working for anyone? I'll switch ea's when you perfect that pending order to re-adjust to always enter at 1 lot. I don't think the ea will be as profitable but it would make it a lot safer.

Last time I lost with Iamthat's master ea was Dec/Jan and I dropped the gpy/jpy and chf/jpy after the loss. I can only vouch for his original master ea, when I was playing your 12 safest pairs with his spin-off of your ea I was averaging over 1200 pips daily....Dan

MA-EA does work and I am testing it alongside old EA. But MA-EA has fewer entries and naturally lesser profits and DD. I think it can be used with some JPY pairs and that is the main advantage. Even first pending orders are deleted and re-entered at next level. (I need a way to modify the first order itself).

Regarding pair selection, my idea would be EURUSD, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDJPY, CHFJPY, AUDNZD, CADJPY, AUDCHF, EURGBP.- I would love to trade add GBPJPY, EURJPY when this EA is somewhat safer(?).

I am trying to refine MA entries by choosing different applied price for BUy and SELL.

Only now that I have started testing it again after Dan has shown it's true value. With latest MA filter it should work better and safer. There are many more improvements possible and needed but handicapped by programming aspect. We will keep you updated.

Ganesh, so glad to see you re-focusing on this ea. Will start this Sunday with your ma ea and 11 pairs you mention so we can get on the same page. I think profit is there, staying safe is what I'm after. I'll keep you informed.....Dan

I'm still trying to find so time so I can get my head around the coding in this ea. If you got any seperate bits of coding that need to be done just let me know, I may be able to do that quicker then getting to know the workings of the existing code.

In any case, I'll look at it some more this weekend and should hopefully be able to contribute to modifying the code next weekend.

Dan,

Pip gains mentioned by you earlier are wrong since many closed trades were with higher lot sizes, so you will have to account for that. Which are the pairs you were using and what is the Max level reached by any pair? This info will be very helpful.
Is it possible for you to have a myfxbook account so that we can see what exactly is happening with the account? I will also add mine to myfxbook.

I've been trading the 4 hour charts using the 60x90 Bollinger Band EA with a manual entry after confirming that the red,white, and blue indicators are either above 80 or below 20. Seems to be working pretty well. Only issue is sometimes that point is reached when you are away from the PC.

Couldn't we program into the EA that the 1st entry is triggered when the BB band is touched AND all three indicators are either above 80 or below 20?

Or, has someone already done that?

Bob has another thread for H4 system with MACD & STOCH and here we are trying to refine his 60x90 system.

EDIT: You have already posted this in the other thread. Well, EA should be possible but here we have no assistance from good programmers and everything is trial and error..

I've got a 92 yr old father that broke a hip in Nov 09 and has had a steady slide down ever since, he's consuming my mental and physical right now. Can't learn face book right now.

Pip count I gave (when I can get back to the thread) is correct. I mis-informed you on the number of pairs which is 16 not nine. They are aud/cad, aud/jpy, aud/usd, chf/jpy, eur/aud, eur/cad, eur/gpy, eur/jpy, eur/usd, gbp/chf, gbp/jpy, gbp/usd, nzd/usd, usd/cad, usd/chf and usd/jpy.

My tp and pips are at 80 for the daily with a multiplier set at 1.5 which is the same for the 4hr except tp and pips are at 50. I went back to the 16 pairs when I started these new accounts and expanded the tp and pips for a larger range on the ea. My largest lot size has been .08 on the daily (gbp/chf) and on the 4hr the largest has been .27 (gbp/usd, gbp/chf) with a dd of 550 on the daily and 200 on the 4hr right now. I've been running the ea's 24/5. Sorry about the pairs count, just been scattered mentally....Dan

About hidden TP, I am not too sure how it can be done but I will give it a try. But does it matter that much???
i Trade mostly the xxxjpy pairs,eurusd,gbpusd on 1hr tf. with respect to the hidden profit setting i have incorporeted that into the ea. but we still need improvement. but i will like the gurus in the house to help us be listing which timeframe is best for particular pairs with this master ea (very very important)so that we dont blow our account as you have rightly mentioned. Because based on Bob analysis some are volatile while some are slow My problem is this coding i dont know it i just use common sense based on othe ea from this thread to add the hidden profit. But i beleive if i have someone that can put me through i can help .i salute all the gurus once again and looking forward to see answers to the issues i raised.

The latest version is called NanningBobEA-STOPwithMAfilter, the one before that is called NanningBobV2.0SellStopMaster. You should be able to find both if you scroll through the attachments.

Here is the Master EA again and it is a plain vanilla EA without any filter. EA posted couple of pages ago (with filter) is a better version in terms of safety. It also has another feature to delete first level pending order.

Hey everyone this has definitely been a good month using this EA has doubled one of my penny accounts so definitely cannot complain. I am using the basic EA nothing else and on all the pairs. Still have not added it to my big account since I do not want to risk that much yet.

Will probably put in a mini account with around $500 in it by the end of the month and see what happens. But so far I am impressed. We will see what happens, I am opening up a myfxbook account and just let it run on this EA to post up my results.

I have been running it just as put in the thread except normally by Wednesday I turn it off and let the last few open trades run but no new ones open, since as I mentioned before I noted that after Wednesday I normally saw trades go down and stay negative over the weekend and then take half the week to recover, so this way I feel like my profits increase.

So far this has been great since it has increased overall pips, besides my normal trading, since obviously this is 24hrs a day. Cannot wait to post the fxbook results.
