Damonl's StopNReverse EA Journal

This will be my journal on an EA that I had made for me (Thanks Dan ).

Starting at the open on 01/05/09 will be the 1st time this EA will have been put into action. It is a very simple system, but there may be some bugs to work out. I only plan on demo testing until it is verified that the EA is functioning as intended.

Date Started Demo Testing: 01/05/09

General System Rules:

1. Stop and Reverse system with t/p and s/l figures on the lower TF pairs.
2. Eur/Usd M15 and M30 TF
3. All pairs on the daily TF's
4. I may add more later, but will be starting with these.

I will hopefully be able to update this thread on a daily basis with the results.

Today was the 1st day of seeing if the EA was functioning as it was intended to do.....it did not . I guess there are still some bugs to work out.

I have not yet put the EA on the daily of the H4 charts, but have placed it on the M30 and M15 charts for eurusd to start with.

Attached is a spreadsheet which shows a list of trades that the EA did take. Unfortunately, many of the trades the EA missed for some reason and that is an issue that we will need to get worked out before going live.

Please keep in mind when view this that not all the trades were taken for some reason, and so the data in a little in complete, but it was none the less, still a good day.

Okay, here is where we are at...

The EA is now working properly so I have gone live. Hopefully this weekend I will begin to optimize. The EurUsd M15 TF is doing extremely well while the M30 TF is struggling.

I will be working on adding the EA to 24 pairs on the H4 chart and the Daily chart and so I will soon start recording those results.

Here is the updated spreadsheet for today. We had a losing day today which will happen sometimes, but we are still way up for the total results. I am not going to trade eru/usd M30 for the time being and will stick with eur/usd M15.

Soon I will also be adding H4 and daily tf's for all charts.

I have really not been negkecting this journal, but some things have come up with the EA that need to be deaklt with before I continue. I will return if not here than somewhere else...enjoy

I plan on doing nothing but forward testing with my stop and reverse EA on the H1, H4 and D1 charts. I was going to continue on some lower TF's, but have changed my mind. Here is where we are at....

Since I will be trading 3 TF's for 24 pairs each, I am having the EA modified so that I only need to have it on 1 chart for each TF and it will trade all the other paris, because so many charts open is really slowing down my system.

I think that early next week we will be able to test this method and then move to going live. The system is sound, just need to get the EA working correctly.
