2. (sometime) Restarting the MT4 while charts with indicator are open, Then MT4 connection to broker saver is slow you get that message.

- Indicator system is paid version.

- From January 26th, 2026 Indicator system will be working only for Paid users. I will be updating twice a month depending on forward testing and feedback from users.

Just had the same issue with v4, I had an arrow several bars back just disappear. A new arrow was about to alert (it was waiting for the next bar to close), but then the new arrow disappeared and took with it the previous arrow.

--Kindly provide moredetails.
- Is it chart timeframe M1 or M5
- Did you hear entry alert?
- What is that Pair?
- Share images

Why can't we backtest the indicator on MT4?

When i run it, the "thank you..." message appears.

I did not save images, but it was a sell arrow on M5 on GBPJPY today a bit before I posted my message. Originally there had been a sound and pop-alert for the arrow that disappeared from a previous bar.

It still repaints whether it has a popup alert or not in M5 Gold.

I will upload this version. Tested on M1 never repaint. Still refining, by sunday i will upload it for every one.

As he stated in the first post, "dodf_Scalper is a multi-timeframe confluence indicator that generates BUY/SELL entry signals and EXIT signals".

In my opinion, MTF indicators can NEVER be 100% non-repainting / non-recalculating, whatever you want to call it. This is because lower-timeframe bars depend on the future completion of higher-timeframe bars. Until a higher-timeframe (HTF) candle fully closes, the data used to calculate indicators on that timeframe is incomplete.
Because of this, signals can appear, disappear, or shift to better locations while the HTF candle is still forming. From what I understand, MTF repainting is unavoidable by design.
This can be dangerous if someone blindly follows signals generated only by an MTF indicator, especially in real-time trading, without waiting for confirmation on closed candles.

Thats why he also stated the indicator can only be used on lower TF like 1 and 5 min.

If I’m mistaken, feel free to correct me so i can learn.

A few thoughts on your indicator doodf_v4.00:
- Is it intended exclusively for scalping, or should it also be usable for intraday/swing trading?
- If it's also intended for intraday+, limiting the display to only M1/M5 is a hindrance, since you'd also be checking additional indicators on H4+.
When checking the timeframe > M5, doodf disappears. So it needs to be reloaded. Multitimeframe?
- Allow the signals (points/lines entry & exit) to be drawn larger and in a freely selectable color. You've set up the option, but it's temporary.
- Repainting is available - doesn't bother me (I can provide examples from yesterday if desired).
- Popup isn't working.
- Yesterday, the signaling on M1 and M5 seemed identical to me.
- You should specify the test-free runtime in #1.
