indecision long term swing etc, just scalp the range but always take one location few pips partials rest BE, and wait completely, just find the edges no overtrading...
H4 if real then it has starting following nfp data otherwise can be a trap as H1 throwing wicks... let see

End of day to me, already said that was not expecting much more Ny macro is where price tipical settle around and rarely breakout to expand and if it does is at the end of this 4h Ny.
The range 5064.340/5044.740 will work as magnet and we can close the day here also.
Any breakout here is also a potential expansion so nothing is granted, to me most likely is revisited, so safe trades..

For all of you here: I see huge mistakes in positioning being made that would result in unrecoverable drawdowns because of losing streaks:

Some of you are trading with such tight stop losses and disregarding the fact that the ATR for H4 candles is 40-100$ these days.

It is inevitable that you lose even if you have an edge because you do not let it play out and so you get consumed by spread and will not even reach breakeven.

I'm not recommending to increase risk, I am recommending increasing capital and stop losses/take profits. If it's taking or giving 40-100 or more, and you are entering dead center with tight stop losses, even if you have an edge, you are bound to lose.

Update:
Market today didn’t respect any short‑term direction or bias.
The only clean reads were:
• Sweep of the open price with NFP
• Holding the last Asia low

Both showed buyers in full control. All the cooking was with them today, but their move was outside my map, so nothing for me to do.
Done for the day, no trades.

Hi everyone. I am kinda new to XAU and havent really observed it much. I might blame all the volatility and spikes today due to all the news and NFP and etc but does anyone know what could be the reason behind this random spike from 23:26 to 23:33 that happened just now? I thought its going pretty smoothly in there hours now. Yes, I know the markets corrections but they usually happen with some intervals and small pullbacks. Now I was observing the 1m candles and they were literally moving like a falling iron down.
