This is my first post on Fore Factory. I've been browsing the forum for some time trying different trading strategies and such.
A Few days ago I met with a friend that has been trading for a few months now. He showed me the strategy he used, but was not sure exactly what it was (a friend of his had just shown him how to interpret the indicators). I would like to know more about the system, if there is anything more to know and possibly some improvements.
Here is the system:
Uses 4 Indicators:
Linear Regression with a period of 14
MACD
Simple Moving Average - Period of 10
Parabolic SAR
When the Linear Regression and the SMA cross you enter the trade. Enter the trade if the MACD crosses as well and the SAR is going in the same direction as the currency.
He puts his stop at the next lowest or next highest candle.
I would just like to know more about this system before I think about using it. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Also, he uses IFX Markets trading software from CBFX. Anyone know about them?
