Anyone know of a fractals indicator that does not repaint? (doesn't disappear or re-appear certain points)

I know it will have more false signals, but does anyone know of any?

Hello 319,

You have to wait for the close of the second candle to the right, because the fractal will tell you the new high or the new low, and for that you will need two candles to left and to candles to the right.

Here I just wrote this. so it is still warm from the oven. To make it non repainting the lookback needs to be 3. and then the fractal will appear on the open of the third bar. thus meeting Williams definition. and will not disappear.

If you want it to act like the MT4 version set the lookback to 2. The Offset is how far from the high or low to draw the arrow. Default is 10 pips away.

Or are you looking for an indicator that once the fractal appears with in the second bar it will not disappear even if the price goes beyond the fractal amount and would normally cause the fractal to be removed all within the second bar from the fractal, even though this would be a violation of the rules set forth by Bill Williams reagarding Fractal nature?

Does anyone know what the "equals" input does on the LW Fractals that Pipsbang attached above? Is it the setting which stops repainting? Because this indicator is repainting for me and I have changed the equals to several different settings and it still repaints.

This is great! Since you wrote it, are you able to add Yellow Horizontal lines with price each time a Fractal Arrow appears on the 4-Hour Chart that is visible on all time frames? As well as adding Green Horizontal lines with price each time a Fractal Arrow appears on the 1-Hour Chart that is visible on all.time frames?
