I always found this indicator very interesting, but I always had a doubt. Example: When he exhausts his daily movement. Is the indicator referring to its total movement down and up or does it deplete in one direction and tend to correct? Thank you for the responses.

It is about doing what he teaches to do with the tools he is using.
Bob Ross teaches painting for free and makes it easy to do but there are tools needed for it and there is a cost attached to doing it, although he never talks about 'cost' either but if you want to do what he does with the tools needed, 'cost' will be a subject at one point.
I'm just saying it is not too expensive to get this ADR thing going.

Actually, you can do what he teaches for no cost, there are many free ADR indicators, all you have to do is recognize the market has moved, and then started a retracement.

Many trade this way now, they call it hitting a support or resistance zone, and will enter what is, at the beginning, a contrarian position.

Also, the famous Davits Pivots thread, right here on FF, trades in this manner, only finding these levels with different tools.

Different strokes for different folks, people can only trade with what jives with them.

Watch a few more videos, you will either get the idea, or not, doesn't matter.

Thanks. Been using ADR indicators for years and knew all about how to already. I'm into automation and the attractive part of the vid was that (rephrasing) 'You can do all this automatically'.

What is it that you are looking for ADR to show?

Exactly. I call this being contrarian to retracement. Others call it breakout retesting. Others Resistance becoming Supprort / Support becoming Resistance.
This happens on all timeframes, I use basically the same idea for scalping too.
