Hi guys,
Pretty amateur on coding thus would like your two cents worth.
I am doing an indicator that puts up and down arrow on specific candles. Say, maybe a 3 bar fractal for example.
I understand that with a lookback period of x candles, the indicator will compute based on every candle closed on the new "x" period.
If i do not have the lookback period, the indicator is drawn from the start of your first historical data's candle. However i read somewhere that mt5 only load whatever that is seen on your screen currently to maximise efficiency on your computer resource. Is that true?
And for veteran programmers out there, which one is better in terms of computer resources used based on CPU/RAM??
