OK:
I downloaded the history files from Alpari and put them in the MT4 History folder, imported the data, selected for the bars in history to be 99999999999999999999999999999, did the period converter thing and still when I run a backtest and the dates for the test show from 7/15/2004 through 10/19/2006. I did notice that when I selected for the -Options-Charts and set the max bars in history to 9999999999999999999 and ran the period converter that the new value was the default of 2147483647 for max bars back. Not sure why that is resetting itself. And the history center for each timframe DOES SHOW data from 6/16/2004 through 10/312008, over 4 years of data. But, the backtest only gives about two years for the test. Is the backtesting in MT4 limited to only 2 years? I did restart MT4 after I imported and ran the period converter so I'm not sure what else I need to be doing. This is data for the EURUSD...
Any thoughts???
