Hello,
This approach might give you the greatest journey of your life.
I have been a member here for a very long time, although I do not really have a significant footprint here. My trading experience is 13 years day and night. I thought to share what I have as a trader with those who are willing to accept the concept of functional trading. Like many other traders, I studied the works of great traders for years. I studied the market maker method, Captain Jack's stuff and Sympathy's teachings, the latter may be less known here.
After years of practice and thinking, a fourth teacher joined the pack, price itself. No less I want you to experience and for this I have taken on the teacher's role, meaning I will assist you just like any other teacher of various subjects would do, till you get to a level where price becomes your teacher and you become the master of it. I emphasize the role of a teacher because I do not want anyone to say "ah, it is another forex scam". The service will not cost you more than attending a language class over a year, so please adjust the strength of your opinion accordingly and compare it with how you would evaluate a language teacher, as an example.
What I can offer is a bit more or different compared with my "teachers" approach. My own revelations have lead me to what I call Functional Trading. No one owns the logic of price movements and it is difficult to say what it is that one person knows that the others do not. There are many good traders here, God knows which one should be followed, so I can only speak of my own experience and approach and to be honest I have even lost interest in what other traders do, so it would be hard for me to benchmark my trading style against another. What I did was that I followed my "teachers" and added my 2 cents based on my own natural learning process. Then I realized that the whole thing should be re-framed, put into a different context. The elements of my views on price movements are listed on my website at functionaltrader.com. You can also read about me and my approach to FX mentoring.
Regarding trading style, the approach is entirely naked trading with no price movement predicting indicators on the charts. Some of the elements are timeframeless trading, the existence and non-existence of price levels, the confusing base unit of price movements, price cycles and few other elements framed by the concept of functional trading. I emphasize the importance of studying the base unit of price movement a lot because that is what naturally leads you to understand what you are trading when you open a position. You always trade the same pattern but it is presented to you in multiple forms. Hence the functions of price movements gain importance.
If you have something to say, let's have a modest discussion and let everyone decide if the offer makes sense or not.
Of course I will post charts here once in a while. I trade one pair only as I do not see any reason to look at many.
Successful trading to All,
