Disliked{quote} Closed at a small partial loss. It shouldn't have come back down if the move was going to happen.Ignored
Disliked{quote} more often than not, if i'd had held firm with my initial instinct rather than make adjustments i'd be better off - easier said than done! gold ran a V shaped recovery and would of kept you in the trade... i think? {image} audusd did the same and i missed it while being away from PC, very disappointed, it would of been a third identical trade in a row!!! {image} oh well, onto the next one - best of luckIgnored
Disliked{quote} that got close to the target i think, very unfortunate, best to take your time for the rest of the session, i know it can be frustrating... AUDUSD 1M i got lucky it looks like - entered long off support targeting ema50 but then moved against me very quickly {image} looked risky to cost average so let it run for a bit, then this happened! {image} definitely got some positive slippage out of it as well!Ignored
Disliked{quote} nice, yes looks lucky to me too. Frustration is when expectations don't meet reality and reality is never the problem! I try my best to think in these terms as otherwise resulting negative emotional states tend to compound bad luck. I don't always succeed but try my best!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Breakeven. 3/4 this week (excluding break evens) and one small partial loss as well. Whilst at times frustrating, the week was a good one with good luck!! Hope you guys are good. @vvm - wie gehts bro? I hope you are well.Ignored
Disliked{quote} good to hear, staying sharp with another positive week! it was a tough end to the week with random moves so good effort, i ended the week with a couple of small losses and breakevens but still a positive week for me as well... {image} this was much the same as last friday for me, the problems occur when i start thinking about being stuck in a trade over the weekend which i avoid at all costs and end up cutting many trades short as a result, its just the way it is on a friday for me which is why i generally don't like trading in the last...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Cheers bro, there were quite a few random moves so happy with the results for the week. Glad to hear you finished positive too! If trading late on a Friday is a problem for you just don't do it. Have a rule where you stop trading 1-2 hours into NY session. Ultimately you just need to look at patterns in your losses and wins and then put steps in place to minimise them. Thinking over the long term is key. If end of session trades on a friday lead to a lot of losses but then one week you have some amazing luck then that one big win doesn't...Ignored
Disliked{quote} excellent advice as always thehusla! that was the second friday in a row now with the same result and i need to carefully reconsider my approach to end of week trading - my plan is to always avoid it, which i generally do - but that leads to a weakness which demo trading cannot strengthen. so looking back on it and after digesting what you have said, if i decide to pursue tackling the challenge of end of week trading, i'll do it with significantly smaller lot sizes, my goal is not to land a windfall profit, it is more about developing the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} No worries bro! This happens when there is no liquidity. If you look at highly illiquid assets the charts look like this. Best to stay away when you see that as will be huge spreads. To kick things off this week GU BOUGHT H1 {image}Ignored
