SwissFXBroker (SFXB)--has anyone ever used them?

Does anyone have any experience with this broker?

They're supposed to be using ECN with MT4 but do not charge any commission. Scalping is likewise allowed. Minimum is 2k, though.

I'll be trying out their demo but it would be nice to hear from those who have actually used them live.

Chukky, would you then be so kind as to confirm whether or not Currenex is their liquidity provider? Why the secrecy if this is so?

It seems that they offer what ATC does; the difference is that they allow free demo which is a good thing.

Does anyone know if there are other brokers or IB's like this one but who are more forthright?

this is not true, they had Hospot Feed Few months Ago,the Variable spreads they get from hot spot did not go down too well with majority of their clients, I for one did not like it, some times the spreads on EURUSD previously can get to 6-8 pips, even does that have use Hospot in live account will agree with me.
Moreover you can ask them to connect you to UBS liquidity which is true ECN, maybe you where connected to the default Server.

Honestly they are not Dealing Desk, because if they are i would have noticed it in my live account, you can not jump into conclution by using their Demo for only one day, maybe you should ask them for more clearification hope this helps you.

Been demo-trading with them for a few days now. It's true that there are no requotes unlike other MT4 brokers and execution is fast enough, though still not as fast as Oanda's for example (their price-quotes are also remarkably close).

Still, their lack of openness as to who their prime brokers are for which they act as IB, gives me pause.

That's exactly why I'm asking those who might have, to give me some feedback as it requires a 2k minimum to find out what it's like to trade live using this broker.
