Hedge & Average at it's best
All closed for me, added a bit more today. It was a bit of a drawdown but in the end it's all good.

If you are using this to trade, do bear in mind that you are taking on a disproportionate amount of risk corresponding to a less significant amount of potential profit. This is me. All is steady and linear until I get DD. Then I start hedging. The explosion happens when after all the hedging I get to zero open PNL.

Looks like nobody is interested anymore in trading both ways at the same time. I also abandoned that way of trading but I was busy with other things anyway. I've done a very little trading in the past few weeks but managed to add to this account 2.5k profit. I kind of like one way of trading more but everyone is different. Everyone needs to find their own edge but patience is needed for everyone in this business no matter the strategy.

one way trading is the best it helps you to calculate well and thats what im trying to stick with for till death do me and trade part

I've not posted as working away fro hone and trading off phone, but if someone makes use of the posts already posted then that's a good thing
Soon To Be Temporarily Suspended Again
This shows how patience in trading is very important. Yesterday I went short on EU but this morning I almost gave up and went long. In the end I'm happy I stick to my plan and it paid off.

don't worry, there are enough hedger&averagers but you won't find them here or they post in other threads;-)

It'll be a shame if this thread doesn't continue, I've read through a number of times and must say it appears genius if applied correctly. I've been trading shares (succesfully) for a number of years but have always struggled to be consistent in Forex. I'm practising this on a live, albeit small, account with good results so far. For me a micro account is invaluable as it introduces the reality of how your emotions and lack of patience can be your undoing. I've a few comments/questions from trading this so far, which I might throw in at a later date, but for now all I can say is thank you to all the positive contributors in this thread.

I will start posting some trades again, but have decided to go back to work just for my sanity... sleeping in my van with only phone and poor internet during the week, so keep an eye on this thread, any questions you have please ask, someone will respond ...eventually.......maybe post your live trades no one will judge you only here to help
