{quote} what can I say..... everybody here knew same sensation as you have now. and probably today it should be another pain day for shorts, as US Bond markets are closed today (but not US stocks and Indices) so they could run wild for another day without checking every minute BOND yields. 1 month rally for more than 2300 pts for DAX was unexpected but in the cards if you look at the seasonality, almost perfect way they follow almost in blind way. I am not able to give you any advice, but from time to time go long on decent retracement and close...

Thank you Brixen for the kind words. I'm quite well, actually, and far from being distressed. I know the mkt can be rough at times so no worries for me.
I feel only a little tired as I've been forced to work harder than usual to keep my baseline high and close all excess as soon as they're marginally profitable. I know well what the risks were and I chose to take them.

But, as and old dog, I know my chicken. I said I was lucky yesterday but luck goes to those who pursue and work hard. As I usually do in front of major events, I closed all my positions before the news and waited to reopen after. Had I chosen to stay in the market, I could've gained (or in this case lost) big but I like being in control and I'd had no control under the circumstances. So I did a pair of counter-trend trades after the news and reopened a single short @200 in the close, forecasting the usual asian purge which never happened. But that is a small position and was closed almost immediately as soon as we dipped below 200, at a safe 195 which happened to be, as usually, safe and close enough to the bottom.

So, now I'm watching and waiting as, to quote you, have no balls to go long here.

Wealth is not built in a day.

GM happy to hear that you guys are OK after that huge move yesterday. Now we have Dax around 500 pts up from its pre news level - that's 3.65% whilst Nss is up some 885 pts from its pre news level - that's 8.16%

THis morning, DAx fell ~80 pts in 3 mins from XO (three black crows) and then recovered all of that fall over the next hour

160 pts round trip with the return to XO level offering plenty of buying opportunities via 3 x m1 Higher Lows

Looks like Dax is in sleep mode at least until 3pm. I have left a long pending at 14090 which probably won't get triggered today.

Karuner, another historic FF member here, says that whatever wild horse is doing everyday (ranging, trending, collapsing, jumping or whatever it is) we have to manage everything here, even the undexpected moves as yd.
This is our main task, so keep on rockin until we can! Thanks for your charts and I guess you will be already ready for the Nasdaq this afternoon too....

We cant have 600 pts range everyday as you perfectly know.
Then, as we saw during last tuesday and wed, when wild horse is sleeping......is only preparing next sharp, fast & furious move!

DAX CASH INDEX has not covered yet his yd gap 14157, but it could happen anytime at 1st decent dip on US Futures/Markets.

40/50 pts target could be enough for me after this intense week, otherwise I will add below entry price, 14130/150 zone

Yes, as Karuner says, just focus on the chart and ignore all other input and manage your own trade according to your Trading Plan.

Now, after a nice early drop in Nas in the 25 minutes up to the New York Open I'm waiting whilst the Big Boys do their initial "shaking of the tree" to take out the tighter stops and generaly fakeout as many traders as possible......

50 pts minimum / lot in the mornings and the same from Nas in the afternoons make for good weekly profits

and they could go on "shaking the tree" until European offcial Indices close, 17:30/35CET, so 2/3 hours........as they usually did after large market moves.
