Bond yields (30y, 10y, 2y) have finally calmed down.
Falling yields = no investment competition for gold.

Then again, you switched your analysis from 1920 a few days ago to now being on the bull-case just because of an NFP print, very odd thing to do given this isn't enough of a catalyst for sentiment to change from being bearish overall on Gold and Bullish on DXY

In this game you have to be able to shift analysis in a heartbeat... i get it wrong plenty but when i am wrong i know it and re-evaluate. You cant have a one track mind when you wrong get the hell out and adapt... Sorry it didnt get to the desired level but had you of scaled in small with multiple positions you would well in profits now.
Nobody will catch the exact bottom or top.... yeah i have done it a few times but only coz i scale in . Anyway hope it helps you i am not trying to be nasty

Heavy in Gold sells here, guaranteed to go down based on price action, 4h candle is weak bullish, 1h candle is weak, this is nailed on to hit 1930 before it even touches 1947 and 1947 is far closer.

I'm not ready to put up with this nonsense.
1. Read about the difference between day trading and swing. Because he exists.
2. Look here in the threads itself (several times about 1 week ago) which route I indicated that I wanted to run at XAUUSD. Yes, right, that was the elephant in my analysis. The difference from 1925.75 (achieved today) to 1920 (my longer term goal) This is the mouse. Understand the difference between a mouse and an elephant. Yesterday I had already closed 2/3 of my elephant position.
3. My actions would be driven solely by NFP. Impulse yes. No more, I already announced yesterday that I am building up new long positions. That's what I did today, just starting a little higher because the market didn't fall until 1920.
4. My only decision base would be the comparison to the USDIndex. No, if you look a #post higher, there are more candies from the box of economics.
5. If we're below 1930 on Monday I'll do a new analysis and this one (done in 1945, 1951,1963,1970) goes in the bin.
6. Since I'm only talking about a range here and not about my trading technique, it wouldn't be a total loss.
7. Always stay curious, but please don't keep me from work anymore.

Closing this week with 10% profit but i am not really satisfied with progress because i have big DD and i was expecting to close it at minimum loss but couldn't do it.
It will affect next week profit percentage.

Price still playing the Sweep Zone on internal structure One rejection at 1947... This is in line with COT banks are litterally neutral on Gold. My POV is 1950 Max and drop into lower range. 1925 to 1893 is institutional demand created recently but nothing backs up 1925 as significant.

IF you are short and holding be careful of a weekend GAP trap. Stops at 1960 ($10 Rule)
