Hello, Thanks for the quick work. Yes there should be some method to tie that cycle with price. Looks like it should not be just like making top or a bottom at the start of the retrograde motion.

{quote} I'm sure someone has something. Yes, it is only the mercury retrograde cycle. Read page 374 of Tunnel. This is not just one retrograde of mercury, but a cycle of retrogrades, according to the cities that the MoM is in. Once you figure out the duration of each cycle it is easy to plot in TS.

Thank you very much for the information. I will definitely go through that page and MAM cycle and cities.

These are slices out of a larger cycle.
The complete cycle is 7 x 7 mercury retrogrades. (or 70 times 7 as per the bible)
Also Mercury has a 79 year cycle (aka the 80 years cycle)
Where it is on the same position in the zodiac on the same day.
This is related to the war cycle.

In the book of Tunnel Gann assigns a year to a day, also biblical, so the 7 days of Robert Gordon are really 7 years.
Anyway play around with the cycle, look back, see what you find.
It doesn't work on every currency or commodity, you will need to find one that works.

End of the week recap:

137 pips possible based on post 12,027, Jan. 31.

After the market headed south on Wednesday, I forgot to be patient and let the prediction play out.... In the end, it was a positive trade. (see video (12,041) for my doubt).

You need to look at the cycle as a whole.
The point of retrograde is just a fraction of the cycle. The total cycle is 49 years.
So if you want to forecast tomorrow you need to look back from tomorrow, to forecast next week, look back from next week. etc.
See wat sign mercury is in, what happens in that sign. Look at the latitude, longitude, declination, speed etc.

Raymond Merriam had this to say about Mercury Rx in his weekly newsletter:

Like Punxsutawney Phil on Groundhog Day 2021, the “Trickster” – Mercury retrograde – was front and center last week. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Tuesday, February 2, and returned to his burrow in the ground and thus forecasting six more weeks of winter. The “Trickster” also began its reversal through the cosmos last weekend, on January 30. Just before Mercury’s backwardation began, world equity markets experienced their most bearish technical ending to a week in since late October. That bearish setup on Friday, January 29, was abruptly negated on Monday, February 1, as world stock indices and other financial markets quickly reversed and returned to their former trends. It was like Groundhog Day all over again, just one day ahead of schedule.

When it is Mercury’s time to turn retrograde, matters often appear to go backwards and upside down. This happens every three months for a period lasting three weeks (January 30-February 20). It affects communications on all levels. And yes, we know astrologers hate it when Mercury retrograde is blamed for anything and everything. But let’s be clear: it’s not causal. But it is correlative and occurs often enough to warrant attention if you are a trader employing market timing studies. It just so happens that is our niche, our specialty because market timing provides that extra edge that all traders seek. What astrology doesn’t provide is the ability or initiative to act upon this knowledge. That is where free will comes in, and combined with the correlation to cosmic phenomena, the outcome of a matter is determined.

In any event, the prior week (January 29) ended very bearish with the steepest decline in three months. But all those losses were recovered with strong rallies by the end of last week, which was very bullish, negating the bearishness of the previous week. Welcome to another live episode of Mercury the Trickster turned retrograde. It should be interesting as Mercury retrograde continues this month, and we approach the first passage of Saturn square Uranus, the Renegade, on February 17. Flip-flops and sudden, unexpected events and changes of direction become the norm.

EURUSD made a bottom at 83 degrees Helio Mars at a price of 1.19.51 which was only 9 pips short of the 1.960 price target on the SQ 9.
Gann called that "loss of momentum".
What happens in these cycles is that price repeats price angles. If you know the angle you can forecast the price in advance.
Price will now test the last high at 2330, then retrace. When it breaks the 2330 level it will be very bullish for a while.

We should be topping out very soon, if not already in, then I expect downward bias toward the end of next week. However, we are in the reversal window, so if there is an inversion (not confirmed yet) then next point would be high:

Inserted Code
Following a request from Forensic please kindly find enclosed my Python code for creating Fourier fast transform on EURUSD pair. The code should also work on any other data that you put into it. I have included the main code file (fourier.py) plus two Python files used as libraries (sysDef.pyc & fourex.py). Since I am not a professional programmer I heavily comment my code (ratio of comments to code lines is most 1:1) and that should give you an idea of what the code is trying to accomplish. The calculation is done is a few stages (#fo_help method...
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing this! I tried the code as follows but I got the following error:

$ python fourier.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "fourier.py", line 58, in <module>
from sysDef import ave_list, pd_corr, dtUniForm, uniDt, rev_date, non_intersect, ll_to_csv
ImportError: cannot import name ave_list

It seems the imports are not available in sysDef.pyc
I successfully decompiled sysDef.pyc to a plain text sysDef.py file but still couldn't find references to ave_list, pd_corr etc.
Perhaps I am missing something.
Is it possible for you to kindly share your sysDef.py file ?

Many Thanks !

Thank you so much for the sysDef.py you posted! Now I can run 'python fourier.py' without any errors.

However I am a bit stumped, as I expected a window or dialog box to pop up but nothing happened. Is my assumption wrong ? I am running python 3.6.9 on Mac OSX 10.14.6.

Also if you do not mind, can you kindly share your fourier.py and fourex.py files as the link you shared has expired. Thanks again for the help.
