Sun is a good planet while Saturn is bad... When one good and one bad planet conjunct how will it affect U.S.? Is it depend on which of these planets are in stronger position?

They don't like each other very much.
These 2 planets are where most legends are made up of. Sun is good, saturn is satan. They are in the sign of scorpio, which is ruled by pluto.
Sun and saturn are each others opposites but by being in scorpio they take over aspects of pluto. Pluto also rules debt. They conjunct in the mundane 2nd house of the US, which rules money. This cycle will end at the next conjunction, over a year from now, and you will see restructering of debt, austerity measures, tax reforms etc. The aspect may cause a spike or so, but the big cycle is about debt and dealing with it. But also look for poor revenue, declines etc. in US business.

On my blog I posted an update on the market forecast for 2012, a technique developped by Gann, it also shows markets are about to drop.

It might be absolutely nothing, but i just wanted to draw your attention to the Mercury retro that's taking place.

[Edit] Mercury at the moment is actually closer to Earth than Venus and Mars
