Yes Paul, it depends your LotSIZE and Broker you are using.

No fixed value amount.... it's ALL relative.

Friends my name is Robson, I'm from Brazil.

I've been in the market since 2007. I've already lost a lot of money.

What is puzzling most users here,is the manner in which you are rounding off prices and placing them to buy/sell stops......maybe it needs some further explaining,like how many pips from low of the day or high of the day you're entering trades. Thanks again Robson,by the way,the screenshot,that's your platform.

Exactly.

This is the setup ... see # Post 01

Regarding rounding, I can say the following.

The price usually punctuates ... leaving pending orders at least 10 pips from the low and high.

The price when it breaks, goes away. There is no reason to keep saving pips.

You are right! Price Action is key. See Price Action on M30.
Looking like we might get some retracement b4 another dump.
Time will tell for a sell.

How many times a day do you eat,go on a diet,lol...... You're going to skyrocket Robson's blood pressure,take it easy,he will appreciates only relevant information regarding his thread,remove your indicators,rewind and come again
US30 retracement... if you didn't secure your profit, you might be forced to give it up.

Always take your profit, or trail it.

You can never go broke or blow accounts by taking profit.

I would like to clear some simples and basic concepts for somebody who is a newbie or comes from other trading systems with indicators at the cost to repeat what Robson already has spoken repetitively.

We are working only on the breakout of daily levels BEFORE 16.00 hours. Robson adds more o less than 10 pips up the levels to open pending orders because the price can pick the daily level and come back. We need a true breakout.

The price is so speedy in that hour indicators are too slow for giving some interesting signal.

Only some experienced and quick traders can anticipate the movement of the next candle with some indicator, but, at the moment, we don´t need indicators.

The only indicator we use is ADR.
It measures the number of pips of each day, 5 days, 10 days, and 20 days.
The medium of pips of every day is 400 pips.
Sometimes it takes two days to complete 400 pips, but it does 400 pips at least.

So we have two true pieces of information: US30 does at least 400 pips and h: 16:00 is the hour oh higher volatility.

The fewer pips it does before 16:00 hours as shown in the ADR, the higher will be the volatility at 16:00 and we can take advantage of profitable trades. The strict is the canal between daily high and low before 16:00 hours, the violent will be the breakout. It is how to work with assets on news of high impact.

We are far away to exhaust the argument: we have to front and recover eventually losses and to have the right money management. We are all invited to improve the method, but leaving it SIMPLES !!!, without complications and headache.
