You should be able to do this, but there is a manual (albeit harder) way. You could draw your retracements and count the pips from the endpoints. Then extend your fibs by reflecting it over the original. It's hard to explain and I'll post a picture later.

Draw your retracements.
Count pips from bottom to top (say 100)
If you want down extensions, draw another retracement from you low to 100 pips under your low.
The 61.8 will be your 161.8 extension.

I'll post the pic later.

cantona7, firstly are you asking about expansions or extensions (just want to check), and secondly are you wanting to know how to actually mathematically calculate them, or just place them on a chart in a charting package?

Let us know and Ill try to help.
You can quit and they won't care, but you will always know.

Sorry for not being clear guys, it's hard to explain in words. I also use FXSOL and here's another way, for that platform. Draw your fib ret. and then draw a vertical line from the 0% to 61.8%. Then drag that line up so it starts at 100% going up. Since the line is equivalent to 61.8%, if you start at 100%, it will be the same as your 161.8% extension.

I really hope this helps,
