@Wavegarrick -- I should add that I know I'm doing something right when something as innocent as subscribing to a new thread is sufficient to attract assholes out of the woodwork. I'm like a Honey Pot -- I attract insects wherever I go. My psychoanalyst suggests it is therapeutic for me as a means to help relieve all those years of pent-up resentment. Do you know what I mean?

All the FF members will judge you by your comment and your profile when you join FF, what you to contribute to ff. You stupid, I should have put you on my ignore list before. Stupid when I said those. I am done with you. This place is not for stupid like you. I knew some of stupid like you come here and post negative things here. Destroy the learning environment. FF should delete those stupids comments.
Let's start one by one for The beginner so that everyone can understand what we are doing here-

Concept 1
Donchian channel (DC) Middle line (ML). If the price is above this we look for buy and if the price is below this we will look for sell. If other indicators support us.

DCML could be used as a trailing stop too If we ride a large market move.

Concept 2. After a large upside or downside move market gets slow.
or Before a big announcement market also gets slow.
The slow market could be identified by the Donchian channel outer band.


Why we should identify a Slow market, why we can't trade every day in the same way.
The answer is in a slow market your indicator will generate more loss and you will be frustrated and you will take a big risk and lose your account, even when the market starts trending.

so we have to define objectively what is a slow market and how we will deal with those slow market, as much as we can. I will discuss this important topic here If other traders interested. I also hope you will your our opinion and your improvement. This a free learning center where we will learn together.

I think I know what you are looking for -- when the outer red and green bands are both horizontal, is that right? Could you post an additional screen shot and highlight those areas where the Donchian channel identifies a slow market.

Also, when trading in real-time, can you see enough of the Donchian channel to make the decision it's a slow market?

Yes, your absolutely right slow market means the same as congestion or ranging. Yes, we could identify slow market conditions with DC and RSI. I will show it here. Not 100% of the time but we will find a way so that our win rate increases.

@Wavegarrick -- since you brought up immaturity -- what would you call following me to a new thread you have absolutely no interest in, and smearing me because I expressed an interest in the topic? I don't know you from Adam. We've never interacted as far as I can recall. Your and your-kind are kinda like that, aren't you? Hypocrites to the core.

And, oh, yeah -- how about that shout-out to yourself smearing @hasib. Now there is a perfect example of mature behavior -- that is, for your kind... And, now, I'm jealous. I'm not deserving of a "self-shoutout", as well? Reminds me of a two-year old's temper tantrum -- adult style. Some of us still behave like children -- just in bigger bodies.
