10-15% a month is pretty good. Yes it sounds low, but if you're consistent it compounds and you can easily double your account in less than a year.

If you have a 5 figure account, which is what I'd recommend and what I have, you could do fine. I don't go above 40% fully invested at any time, most times way below that and I can survive wild swings in volatility.

A seemingly knowledgeable source from a 2015 post, indicates 50% gains per year as very good, with 1:1 leverage, pro traders.

With 400:1 the equivalent performance is indicated as a factor of 1.15 per week, or 60% per month.

As I am a scalper, I seek daily targets of between 0.5% to 1% of equity increase a day which is obtainable with medium risk.

But if you ask me, it’s the wrong question.
A better question is how much draw down do you accept in the task of obtaining your daily / monthly targets.

For me it’s 0.5% draw down before I hedge or cut the trade if it occurs near the end of my trading day. I never carry trades over to the next day.
Some of the guys in our trading group are happy to go to 2-3% draw down to achieve their targets, personally I hate the stress.

The knowledge and skill of a trader is measured by the drawdown of his trades. Losing the account or registering large drawdown is the mark of the gambler. This type of trader tend to harp on their high hit rate to camouflage the real overall picture. Ofc they impress others with their large account size. Such traders tend to have a history of devastating drawdowns.

That's a great chart and very doable. Anything over 60% winning trades consistently and you'll be making money.

I've seen this in the gambling world and it can be proven with a coin flip.

One person can bet on heads, the other on tails after 30 or so flips both sides are profitable. Both sides can also lose, so it all comes down to how you manage and size the trades.
I'm happy with 10% a month with a large account, though obviously I'd prefer 15. I don't break the 30% of my account invested rule.

I had a look at your TE, are you trading strategies with R:R less than 1? The current drawdown outweighs quite many wins.

I developed an Expert Advisor by what there is no possibility to loss account but profitability is nearly 3-5% month I ask questions to know what people like more higer profit with higer risk or low profit% with low risk as I see it is not attractive to majority of you (but I know there are a lot people for whom 3-5% month is ideal with high safety ruls.

I traded binary options bot won few thousands. Then the fraudulent manipulation started after few large withdrawals. Its the same with forex that's why it make sense to manual trade. Bot won't come close with the returns.

Manual trading is about harvesting dollars, Algo trading is about harvesting pips.
The truth is you need thousands more pips to match a few dollars a manual trader can make.

Been there, done both.

Honestly there is a middle ground - Applying Algo's to manage your positions from your cherry picked setups. Here it does a better job because the EA won't second guess its settings defined by your statistical data.

Your tester results are not real. You are using open prices. But you have to use 100% quality tick data and test on every tick. Try that and share results here. Anyway your EA seems to be very nice.
