Hello everyone.
Just a quick intro, my name is Erik and I have been trading since 2009. Last year, 2020, I had the idea of trading using an EA so I did a bunch of research, found a great strategy, and I had someone program it for me.
I have been using this EA since June of last year and it has been very profitable so far. With the settings that I use, I can average between 20-30% per month consistently for the past 6 months, but I do have settings as well for a somewhat more conservative approach. I have several settings depending on how much risk you want to take.
The EA itself uses a combination of two strategies, hedging and Martingale. The EA opens a buy and sell position every 4 hours with a set TP, and then once the position does not hit TP in 4 hours, it opens another buy and sell position, but this time it increases the lot size on the losing floating position.
I know a lot of the members here don't like Martingale, and I totally understand. What many people fail to understand is that Martingale is dangerous if you start with a big lot size that only gets bigger and bigger and that's really asking for trouble. The best approach for this strategy is to start with a very small lot size and set a target for a maximum number of open trades. So far my biggest drawdown was 38% on floating losses on 11 open trades, but thankfully the pair reverted back to its mean and hit my TP.
Ps. I'm not here to argue on what you think of the Martingale strategy as I know it has been discussed on this forum countless times before.
Based on my live accounts, EURUSD and AUDUSD were the most profitable last year. I also created a $400 account the other day so you guys can see the performance of this EA. It's currently running AUDUSD.
Minimum Requirements:
1. $400 micro account
2. 1:500 leverage or higher (1:200 is possible too but we have to really start with a very very low lot size)
3. VPS so we can run the EA 24/5
If you're interested, you may send me a message or comment and I'll give you a 1 month free trial so you can see for yourself. Yes, I do plan on selling it as I have spent countless hours and money creating this.
