Hey guys


Do any of you have or know to program an indicator that caculates the median price of a candle: (H+L)/2 . I know it shouldnt be that hard to program, I just dont know the MT4 programming language


I need something that would look at the candle (complete candle) and place a line at the median or something for every candle on the screen. (I will be using it on daily charts)

Nothing is hard, some things just take more time and discipline.
You can do this easy with out programming. Just bring up a Moving Average and use a simple, period = 1, apply to = median price. Shift = 0 Then just choose a color and there you go . An SMA of 1 is the actual.

But it diagnols through the price

so where is the exact median?

I wanna be able to easily just look at the bar and know its true median without calculating it or placing a fib on it..With the MA its still kinda distorted because it goes through the price diagnally
