I'm just wondering if it would be possible to find the fair value (intrinsic value) of a stock technically and not with fundamentals, so using just price or volume...any suggestion?
I don't believe that will be possible. How you are going to value something from just from looking at a price chart, I guess the closest to it will be some indicators measuring the average price such as moving average.
However, the most important thing in valuing a stock is the possibility to discount future cash flow back to today. You may be able to do the same with a price index. For example, how much this stock has grown during the last years? how much will it grow in the next few years? what is the price now? is it fair?
