How do we find out if a broker do these to us

1) they do stop hunting;
2) they do price shading (raise ask when rising, lower bid when falling);
3) they fade away from market when news come out;
4) worst of all, they trade against new and naive customers.

You have to do some research and look around many forums. There are long list of them. Using good fast broker that will execute your order fast is key to success in trading the news. I stopped losing money after I found the right broker!

I think stop hunting and trading against somebody happen very seldom.

The rest two points are the traders' fault

I agree with the fact that traders lose by their own shortcomings but I agree with this statement above. In the stocks and futures, what you see in your platform is what you get in the exchange or electronic market, but forex the orders may never see the light of day outside the dealing desk. 2-3 pip spread is alot to overcome.

I've done backtest with every possible systems found or written my own and cannot break even when $30 slippage vs $10-12.5 slippage in emini futures no matter how good the strategy is. Believe me, the strategy needs to be swing or higher to make money. Scalping is not the winning game.

I recently changed broker from FXCM to MBTrading and now making decent returns just on the spread difference alone. Better to pay a small commission than pay for wide spreads, huge difference in results. I just wish EFX or MBT support MT4.

Like I said, if you're scalping and have tight stops, might as well hand it over the money to them and lose the suspense. My experience was not nice. If you're willing to widen the stops and go for longer timeframes, yes, it doesn't matter.

The other thing is why do you want to trade against your own broker? Wouldn't you want to trade against others out there, another newbie maybe? At least you have a chance to make money. When you trade against your broker, they have all the necessary tricks to take you out. They make the rules in the platform and you play by their rules, you tell me who will come out ahead?

Anybody try these guys I AM NOT GIVNG A RECOMENDATION I want to know if they are a scam.

Very interesting! I haven't really heard of this but I'm going to that forum and find out. Commission free if 16 trades or more but I'm figuring if less, they probably make money on the fees (overnight interests) or something. But only one way to find out, I just signed up to their demo account and see how it is.
