hello guys,Can you point me to the right direction on how to add code in EA to write comment on my MT4 terminal as per attached image. So for every trade, I can add custom note/comment.thanks

When You make an order(buy or sell), there will be a "comment" section

while searching "how to add comment in an open order" in google, i found this topic. since I'm a junior member, i can't open a new topic until the moderator approves my submission. so i continue this old topic!
Now, i know i can add comments when making an order. but is there any way to add comments to those orders that are already made?
I'm testing my new strategy and i need to write some details in my orders so that i won't mix them up.

There isn't a way to amend the comment on existing open trades either via MT4 or in code (scripts/etc.)

Default comments are up to the broker. You cannot customize except in an EA or script at order entry time or by entering them manually.
I'm using the "one click trade" method, which bypasses that comment field. is there any way to enter it after the fact? I have 3 trade methods, which I analyze in FX Blue later, and I'm having a hard time separating them for better analysis. FX Blue has a magic# column, but I can't figure out how to add that either. My real question is how do I analyze my 3 different trades??

Same here, i am also interested in knowing how to add comments after having entered the trade.

You need to find yourself a trade manager EA which allows you to add Comments and Magic Numbers

Search for "Trade Manager" and you will find many options.

Once a trade is placed you cannot then alter the comments/magic.

One thing you should also be aware of it that some brokers do make changes to the comment field as trades progress, so suggest you use the Magic Number to keep track.
