Trend Following Scalping Method (H1 & M5)

Hi, in thread will be a documentation of me using the trend following scalping method that i found from YouTube,

I already manual back test it and i saw a promising outcome.

Indicator:

Anchor Chart:
H1
EMA 8
EMA 21

Scalping Chart:
M5
EMA 8
EMA 13
EMA 21

Method:
Buy:
H1 candle should above EMA8 & 21 for buy
M5 candle retrace to EMA 8
Enter buy order 3 pip above highest 5 candle before the retrace candle
SL 3 Pip below the retrace candle
Cancel the order if candle close below EMA 21
2 TP target, first one 1x Risk, second one 2x Risk
Move to BE if 1st Target reach


Sell:
H1 candle should below EMA8 & 21 for sell
M5 candle retrace to EMA 8
Enter sell order 3 pip below the lowest 5 candle before the retrace candle
SL 3 Pip above the retrace candle
Cancel the order if candle close above EMA 21
2 TP target, first one 1x Risk, second one 2x Risk
Move to BE if 1st Target reach


Example from yesterday chart:
Anchor Chart - H1 above EMA8 & 21

- Price retrace to EMA 8 and not close below EMA 21
- some trade reach 2nd Target, some only reach 1st Target

GBPUSD - short set up

It seems your sell is late

which one? the gbp?
i miss the one before

Eurjpy, you supposed to have entered sell about 5pips below the low of the lowest of 5 candles

oh that one, i miss the setup but i see it already reach 3 pip below the trigger candle,
so i just enter when i see one. it's only 2 pip difference then the entry.

it's 5 candle before the trigger not 5 pip below. in the video he tell us 3 pip below not 5 pip below.

I'm still learning the technique so forgive me if i make late entry or i make some entry mistake.

Thanks for the system, the stop loss of 3pips can easily be taken by market makers, it is better to use a wider stop loss, or close the trade manually if not going as planned

The SL not 3 pips, but 3 pips above / below, like the EURUSD the SL around 13 pips, for scalping i thinks it's big enough.
from my back test it's quite good to have 3 pip above or below the trigger bar. we can re enter again if the market goes in the trend.
but let's see how the system goes. i just live trade this method since this Monday. hopefully it's a good system that can make profit in the long term.

Hi pip cruiser,

I mostly trade eurusd, gbpusd, usdjpy & eurjpy

I think we can trade any pair as long the spread not that big for scalping.

USDJPY & EURJPY Short sell

USDJPY TP 1 Hit, second TP hit by my trailing stop (not by the rules, but i adjust it myself)
notes: TP2 miss by 1 pip

EURJPY SL Hit, but i take some profit before it goes back
notes: the price goes down twice but wont break down, i TP based on my intuition.

GBPUSD nice long setup
