I can't give any proven suggestion till I reach 10000%. Everything else, you already know.
One thing I am sure of is that I will not try to compete with you in gains because that would throw me off. It's impossible I can do it as long as I stay on my path.

Hopefully, I can come somewhere close. I am a scalper. In the past I have gone from $20 all the way to $400, but I’ve never been able to duplicate that. I have learned a lot and I believe in trading a small live account of $100 and trying to grow it as you do. My problem has always been I do not like to take losers, and that is a necessity in this game cutting them short. I have been doing better lately, we’ll see how it goes.

Same problem, my problem is not to make big gains is to keep them. That one loss that Im not able to take.

What I do know is to have bigger stops, give more room to trade so I do not have to take decisions of losses so often, is working better how did you manage to turn around interested to know

In my opinion the last thing you want as a scalper is bigger stops. That has worked against me because inevitably you will have a string of losers or, you will be tempted to go a little bit past that bigger stop because you don’t wanna take such a big loser.

Answer for me has been to look and wait for trades that have a low risk / high reward potential. The hardest part has been sitting on my hands and waiting but if you can do that there are many low risk, high reward potential trades on one minute charts. I always try to trade in the direction of the main trend. I use a currency strength meter to help decide which pairs to trade pair and when. I have the 1 minute, 5 minute, and 15 minute chart of the chosen currencies up, that I am monitoring.

I’m Getting better, but I still make a lot of mistakes. I have busted many times in the past and every single time it was because I held onto a loser longer than I should have because I was sure it was going to turn back.

As a newcomer to trading, i have nothing to contribute in the endless discussion "it's luck or not" that is behind us. And posting videos and pics of wins doesn't help much if at all. I tried following the topic and i can't get a grasp of what your strategy is, maybe it's not intended for newcomers, idk. Can i challenge you to try and pass some of that knowledge to us.

Hey Polimini, thank you for coming in. My goal here is get to the 10000% mark as I continue hitting the 1000% mark again and again. I try and discover new ways to make this ride as smooth as possible and as quick as possible.

Believe it or not, I have no one to guide me towards my goal but myself and past experience and knowledge to the market. As I have mentioned before many times, it is important to trust your system and keep building on what you already know. Keep what’s working for you. Get rid of what doesn’t. Progress will come.

As for a newcomer, you haven’t told me about your experience, but in general you should be focusing on not to lose first and then try to get some consistent footing every month. Small profit at end of the day will help you get through some of the worst days and keep the motivation up.

I'm probably going to re-read the thread and complete it. I think I got to about page 7, 9 or somewhere there. I'm seeing a lot of varied responses including persons asking how. I'll give my POV on the matter. Not that my POV matters much.

Gaining a high percentage in a short time is doable. Risky, but doable. If you're not afraid of some drawdown or you have a system that you're confident in - it's very doable. I've done this before across two separate brokers - started with one at $100. Moved to the other when I got to $500. Doubled that over about 3 weeks thereafter. Unfortunately my first love is IT (repairs/troubleshooting) and work takes priority. I made the move from $100 - $500 over a longer period. February 2019 to April 2019.


Then I moved to another broker in April and almost the entire set of profits were done during a training trip that I was on for some new equipment by one of the vendor/partners that the office I worked for sent me on.


Could it have been done in less time? Yes. Easily. I fully believe that it's possibly to make a high percentage with minimal risk. And it would be easier if I didn't have a day job that takes up most of my time - with driving involved - where my monthly petrol expenses are around USD$200 per week. If I had the time to spend solely on trading - I feel as though I could do similar. "Sniper entries" as some persons may call them. Again - it's doable but it's not for everyone.

On to the "how did he do it?" part of things.

I've not read the whole thread - but up to where I was, there was no definitive "method" given. People assume that there's some "edge" that is used. I'd like to say that YOU are the edge. The person behind the screen.

ANY system will work. ANY system will be profitable. I made a loooong post about it saying a lot of stuff. This post is already long so let me link it below and then try to summarize.

Everyone is different. I may rather long term and you rather short term. Your method may not work for me - mine may not work for you. BUT!!!! There was something said by the OP in the very first post.

And some persons have said that the basics can't work. I believe they can. Much like trading - in context. If you've been able to look at longer term trends - you can trade in line with those on the shorter term. Without watching any of the videos or deeply looking at the trade explorers - that is where I think the edge is. Regardless of the method you want to use - even the Lunar Cycle Trading - it don't matter as long as it works FOR YOU.

Trading is a journey where you will learn about yourself. Some people take longer than the outlined 3-5 years - some persons take less. The IML statement "pace yourself" is simply but complex. You may get jealous of some prodigy that starts and is making a killing in 3 months - and you were struggling for 8+ years to get there. Everyone learns at a different pace. Everyone handles money, losses and trading differently.

If you want to learn the EXACT method used - which I do "for science" - then you may ask directly. If you want to take the journey - which I'll do in due time - then read the links posted. Watch the videos. You want to know why the method isn't outlined? I don't know the exact reason - but I assume that it's the same two reasons that most persons don't share certain info.

1. If you have an "edge" you want to not make it public.
2. Even if you share at times - it may not resonate with everyone.

Particularly #2. I may say - only trade news. Only trade pins. Only trade retracements. Only trade double tops/bottoms. Regardless - the trade must be analyzed and the position taken after context is given. I may also say - trade with no SL. Use hedging to get out of a bad trade. Some of these things may be a sore spot for you as an individual. Hedging for one - some people absolutely hate the idea. Trade with no SL? Are you mad?

Anyways - long post again. As usual. Sorry.

If you have a system and it's working - don't deviate. If you plan to supplement it with more knowledge - first document your CURRENT winning system. Take on the new system with an open mind. Don't cloud it with your previous system. After learning both - or 10 systems - pick and tweak what works for you.

In closing. I'd like to point something out. Notice that the OP has made a lovely amount in a short space of time. What does that say? A more conservative amount can be done. Do 1% daily. Compound interest...

I placed this in my thread as well. Replace the $50 with your desired starting amount. Look at what you'd have after 1 year of trading and gaining 1% daily.

If the OP wants to push his boundaries - let him. That's what he's comfortable with. Just because YOU haven't done it - or haven't done it in that short amount of time - doesn't mean it can't be done. My own stats shown above says it's doable with low risk. Just not in under 100 trades.

Find your rhythm. Find your path. Find your pace.
