Hi I thought it would be interesting to see how many people are actually using EA's to trade and what sort of success they are having, I don't trade EA's solely but I do have a live account that trades only with an EA and its doing well so far.

The settings and trade plan for it seemed sound so I put it on its own live account, so it would not effect the results of my manual system I use.

I wont mention the name of the EA because its a commercially bought one, but if you want to know then PM me with your email and Ill fill you in on its details.

I'd also like others to post their EA's results here so we can see which are working well.

Please don't post names and/or promote commercially sold EA's as I don't want this thread to be sent to the trash bin.
Please also only post EA's that are being forward tested or used on live accounts, I don't believe in back tests at all.

Nice graph! Keep us posted as it goes along, will be very interesting if it continues heading North over a decent time period.

I will also keep posting my EA's results (good or bad) as it goes along as well , maybe on a weekly basis I'll update the graph.

EA still floating....will post either good or bad results.

I am experimenting mode with live.

from yesterday profit, I open another account.
current running is 3 account:
EURUSD, USDJPY, GPBUSD..

so you don't let the account grow? you use the profits to open new accounts trading 1 pair each? do I understand correctly?

So if it works your accounts should grow exponentially without having to increase profit targets etc. And you will also kind of be hedged right? because if the EA buys Euro and the Swissy for instance, you will be hedged against yourself.

I have heard of the Steinitz EA that was developed here on Forex Factory doing something similar....But I have never experimented with that sort of MM before.

I would prefer to have forward testing than back testing as I personally don't trust back testing.

Not to knock your submission but I can get better results on back test over the same period as the graph I posted after forward testing.

It just seems to me real market conditions on forward testing is the only real trial by fire for an EA, that is my humble experience with the 5 different EA's I ran until I settled with the one that was most successful for me.

That being said I must admit the EA results you posted look good.

So can you please post a graph of it on a live account forward tested in real market conditions (If you are using the EA)

Im not using this EA; however it is based on H1 charts and thus it backtests more accurately than EAs based on lower timeframes.
this thread will end up like the one over at TSD...

there will be several dozen backtest graphs....

there will be several dozen moochers begging for the EAs that make the backtests....

people will lose interest quickly and the thread will die.

what is the indicator on the bottom righ hand side of your chart?
It resembles the signal bars indicator but I see some differences, like the bars seem to represent pairs instead of the MACD, RSI and EMA (like the signal bars indicator does)...Is it the strength of certain pairs reletive to the market?

i found your thread and i think this is the best place to answer your question.
Rlinac is the owner of this EA posted at forex tsd. Do a search there to have a better understanding how she works.

i'm having the modified version for ibfx mini account, i think it should work for standard account if you don't select the mini.

remember it's an EA with function like an indicator so put it at the right folder.

as for tdion, suggest that you use the ignore button.

Just a quick note, If a graph is posted, please post the detailed statement. The graph does not show float, equity, balance, drawdown, Profit factor, win ratio, etc.

It really has no meaning by itself.
start with deposit USD50 since 18august08.

Account 1 : EURUSD till today, swing results.
Account 2 : USDJPY today got burnt..need to review setting for USDJPY
Account 3 : GBPUSD still up.

thanx for the suggestion, I post the graph tho because the individual trades and lots sizes etc are part of a plan that is customized for my account,The graph I post will be when all trades are closed so there is no floating P/L at the time I post and any DD on the account will be seen as a green line that diverges from the main blue line on the graph...

I might in time block out some info and post the detailed report for viewing tho, so thanx again for the good suggestion.

please don't think I'm rude, but I am going to post every now and again a reminder to please only post graphs of EA's that are forward tested on live accounts ,as I don't believe in back tests and I would rather discuss EA's that are performing in real market conditions rather than hypothetical scenarios based on back tests.
